Bella and Jacob both dropped their jaws as they looked over and saw the person who was speaking in a manly and almost harsh voice. Bella gasped audibly and exclaimed "DAD?"

Standing at the door was Charlie, although his skin was pale white and his eyes red. Bella dropped everything she was holding and ran to face him, fist hugging him and then looking intently in his eyes as she spoke. "I know what you are, Charlie... Your skin is pale white and ice cold... you have incredible strength and your impossibly fast."

"Say it," he replied, "Out loud."
"Vampire" Bella replied, as Jacob stood away from them astonished.
"Charlie, dad, who turned you?" Bella asked, she was so lost and confused. She had never wanted her father to be involved with this side of her life and now he was smack-dab in the middle of it. Charlie sighed, and looked away from her as he prepared to answer her question, sadness in his voice. "Alice did." Bella was even more confused now, she knew that Alice could be trusted, but in what universe would she have ever turned Charlie into a vampire?  Bella shook her head and let out a small voice. "No... No Alice could never... she WOULD never change you, Dad!" She clenched her fists and looked into his crimson eyes.
"Let me explain, Bella, please." Charlie pleaded. Bella took a deep breathe and let him speak. "Alice did it because she saw your choice to accept Zanarya's offer. Of course, I wouldnt have known where you had disapeared to if it wasnt for her. I called her, asking about you. She gave me a rundown of the situation, um, vaguely. She said if I really wanted to understand, she would have to break some rules. I didnt care at that point, but she seemed to think it was a bad idea to explain to me since I am - or, was, I guess - a human. She pretty much said the only way to save you is to become like you. Alice warned me of the risk, but I couldnt stand losing my baby grandson and my daughter in the same week."

"I think I understand," Bella spoke, "But.. even so, how are you here? This is a different time frame from yours, maybe even an alternate universe or something like that. How would you time travel withought the magic of a wizard?"

CHarlie thought for a second, trying to remember what it was that Alice had told him about beinmg a vampire. "Well... Alice said some of you er, vampires, get special gifts or something?" Bella nodded and listened as Charle continued. "Well, she said the reason she was okay with turning me is because she saw in my future that I would have a special gift like that; the gift of time travel."

Bella was mind-blown as she tried to wrap her head around the whole situation: Alice has seen her choice and turned her father because she knew he was the only one who would be able to travel back into the past and help her fight Zanarya. She eyes was wide, totally flabbergasted. "Thats... Thats amazing, Dad." she choked back tears. "With you and jacob's help Im sure we can figure this out. Me and Jake actually just found a book, with the answer to killing the Great Wizard, but-"
Charlie jumped in the air happily and said "WOO! I was hoping we wouldnt be here long. Honestly I was a bit nervous because-" Bella interupted him the way he had done to her. "BUT. Its not that easy." She finished. CHarlie sighed, and Jacob walked over to the two vampires. He was glad they caught up, but he needed to remind Bella of the task at hand: getting rid of her powers.

Jacob spoke - to both Charlie and Bella, "well, the only problem is that Bella needs to lose her powers to be able to defeat Zanarya. WIthought her poers, Zanarya becomes powerless. But, theres only one idea we had, and thats changing her into a werewolf. Without her vampire powers, me and charle can take on the stupid wizard while Bella undergoes the transformation. Then, when she's finished, he'll be gone and everything will be back to normal - I mean I hope anyway."

Charlie nodded, taking in the information. "So, how do we do that, exactly? Turn her into a werewolf?" He looked at Jacob skeptically, like he didnt think it was really possible. Jacob noticed this, and became nervous—even he wasnt exactly sure how it worked, he had only been told a few times by his dad. He shifted his eyes away from Charlie's glare. "Well, I dont remember exactly-" Charlie scoffed, but let him continue anyway, "But, my dad will know. I also need to apologize, I hope hes okay."

"Billy? Why wouldnt he be okay, did something happened?" Charlie asked, concerned for his friend. Jacob looked at the floor, ashamed. "Well, I kind of beat him up and threw his wheelchair outside where he couldnt get it. He was bleeding pretty badly last we saw him, but-" Charlie growled and shifted into a crouch, his vampire instincts taking over. Jacob put his hands up as a way to say he was innocent and he shouted "I ONLY DID IT BECAUSE HE SHOT BELLA!" The room went silent. Bella shuddered and winced at the memory and a sad reality suddenly hit Charlie-his best friend would hate him because he's a vampire. Of course, the saddness didnt last long as it was replaced by the rage of a newborn vampire. "He shot my DAUGHTER?"

Immediately, Charlie used his newfound vampire speed to go to Billy's hosue. Jacob shifted into his wolf form and Bella rode on his back, as they feared for Billy's life...
