"Pack your bags, you are going to San Francisco" Emily announces successfully getting Jana's attention.
"Why would I go to San Francisco?" Jana frowns.
"Because you are going to meet your in-laws in San Francisco" Emily says as an explanation. Jana shoots out of her seat, wide-eyed and mouth agape.
"Wait what? Why in the world would I want to meet my in-laws?" with an exasperated sigh Emily responds.
"It's only natural you get to meet Dianna's family since she met yours" quickly adding "and because they want to meet their in-law, they called me"
"They don't know about the arrangements right?"
"No of course not. So get your acting skills on, pack your bags for the weekend and meet Dianna in 15 minutes" Jana hates being shooed but compies. After some unwilled packing, Jana meets Dianna at her garage. They were taking her rover with Mr Flynn as their escort to San Francisco.
"Now remember your family doesn't know about the arrangement so I want both of you to come up with a story on how you met and got together and please behave" Emily says looking at Jana on the last part.
"I'll behave. I'll even act all couple-y with Dianna" Jana's sweetness was more nervewracking than her usual gank.
"Okay. Give me a call when you get there" Emily says before watching the car pull out of the garage, silently praying everything goes well.
"Do you know anyone in the industry? Maybe we can start with that" Jana says as they drive through L.A. Dianna thinks about it thoroughly before answering.
"I have a friend Naya, she's not much of a big star like yourself but she's been to a few shows" Dianna says.
"Okay, we met at some party" Jana starts.
"Naya brought me to that party and somehow we met across the room" Dianna suggests.
"That's too cliché" Jana snorts.
"Fine, do you have any none cliché ideas?" the blonde huffs.
"Here's what I've got in mind" Jana's devilish grin makes Dianna uncomfortable but she didn't voice it out instead she listens to Jana's idea.
The ride to Dianna's family house was a long one giving the two of them time to perfect their 'story' on how they met and how they got together.
"Okay so hold hands and kiss if necessary, that's it. Nothing more" Dianna says firmly as they reach the point of setting their ground rules. Jana rolls her eyes before nodding.
"Afraid it might lead to you falling in love with me Agron?" she teases getting the inevitable blush from the woman. Dianna quickly composes herself, scoffing.
"Don't be so full of yourself. I can never fall in love with such proud, incorrigible, stubborn woman who thinks-" as she turns to face Jana she's surprised to see their faces too close she can smell Jana's minty breath. This close, Dianna can see what the tabloids were talking about. Jana has light almost golden eyes that feels like they're looking right through your very soul, everything about the woman is pure perfection. Dianna wonders silently why none of Jana's relationships last longer than a year when anyone lucky enough to have a chance of dating the woman is considered blessed.
"Speechless?" she notes the huskiness in Jana's voice snapping her back to reality.
"W-what?" Dianna stutters moving away from the actress. "Nothing" she mutters only for Jana to chuckle, loving the blush that creeps up to Dianna's cheeks.
"I love the way I can make you flustered" with that Dianna glares at her before turning to the window, ignoring Jana for the rest of the ride.
After Mr Flynn parks the car in front of the Agron's, Jana takes hold of Dianna's hand.
"We need to act couple-y remember?" she says seeing Dianna's questioning glance. She opens the door and gently helps her wife out of the rover. Seeing her family again Dianna all but sprints to them accidentally dragging Jana along.
"Mom, dad!" she lets go of Jana's hand to hug her parents before turning to her brother Jason.
"Hey Di" Jason hugs her sister swinging her in a circle. "You're looking good"
"Mom, dad, Jason I want you to meet Jana, my wife" Dianna introduces them.
"Hello Mr and Mrs Agron, Jason. Pleasure to meet you" Jana holds out her hand to the three Agron. Mr and Mrs Agron shakes it politely while Jason pulls her into a hug, surprising the actress.
"The tabloids weren't kidding when they said you can make any gay men straight and straight women gay. Di, she's beautiful" Jason says looking at Jana before looking at his sister.
"Sorry about Jason, he's been anxious to meet you. As we all were" Mr Agron says to Jana. "Please let's go inside" he gestures to the door. With everyone nodding, they proceed to the inside of the house, settling on the couches. Jana and Dianna know the questions are about to come.
