Jana waits for the impending questions she knows were just dying to be asked. As she sits on the couch holding Dianna's hand she looks at the Agrons, studying them one by one.
"So how did you and Dianna meet?" ah there it is, Jana thinks pausing her inner monologue to answer Mary.
"There was this party two years ago" Jana starts.
"Remember my friend Naya? She brought me as her plus one to that party. She was the one who introduced us" Dianna finishes.
"I didn't know Naya was a colleague of yours Jana" Mary says.
"We're both in the same industry, it was bound to happen" the actress thinks up quickly. "And we are both handled by the same manager. She looked so beautiful that night, I can't not know her name" Dianna looks at Jana not expecting that answer from the woman while Jana keeps her gaze at the older Agron woman.
"I guess that explains how you two met" Mary's content with Jana's explanation. Dianna lets out an inaudible sigh, noticing the warmth of her companion's hand wondering how long they'll hold hands. She shakes herself out of her thoughts, listening into the conversation transpiring between her parents and her fake wife admiring Jana's quick thinking but maybe that's part of being an actress, she's good in improv.
"Well I think you two should rest in Dianna's old room" Ronald says standing from his place on the couch. There were a few things they forgot, one of those things was that they have to share a room for two nights and sleep on the same bed. With a stiff smile, Jana lets Dianna drag her upstairs to the blonde's old room. Mr Flynn puts their bags down and retires downstairs.
"I'll call when dinner's ready" Mary states closing the door. Once in the privacy of Dianna's room, Jana lets go of her hand and takes a seat on the desk chair.
"Nice room. Shows a lot about you" Jana states after looking at the room seeing pictures and the color was perfect. "Who knew you were into dark elements and stuffs. I pictured you more as a bright and shiny woman." She adds taking note of the skulls and any sort of things related to the dark side. Dianna looks down feeling a blush creeping up to her cheeks, She hears her chair swivel before footsteps coming up to her. Looking up, Dianna's surprised to find Jana's face only a few inches away from her own.
"You're one fine woman Dianna. I'm lucky you're my wife" Jana's voice was husky and low making Dianna shiver hoping the other woman didn't notice.
"Thanks" she stammers finally realizing she's been pushed back to the bed when her back hits the soft mattress with Jana hovering on top of her. Jana knew this was a bad idea but she couldn't help herself from testing the waters. With her elbows supporting her up, she lowers her head till their breaths mingle, she sees the hitch in Dianna's throat and the shade of her hazel eyes changing to much darker color.
Dianna stood her ground, she was hypnotized by those light brown eyes, ignoring the tightness that formed in her throat as her breath mingles with Jana's. Any coherent thought she had in her head all went out of the window as their lips are only millimeters away then Dianna snaps out of the trance she was in, all coherent thoughts rushing back to her.
"If I didn't know any better Jana, I believe you are falling for me" she smirks. That snaps Jana out of her trance quickly taken aback with the statement before collecting her wits, smirking back at the woman beneath her.
"Well Ms Agron, it took you long enough to take my hints. Yes I am falling madly in love with you. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife for real this time?" Jana states sarcastically getting a chuckle from Dianna.
"Maybe I've been picking up on your hints Ms Kuran, just didn't address it. And yes, it will be my greatest honor to become married to you, stubborn, incorrigible, proud, arrogant, loving, caring, thoughtful-" Dianna stops herself quickly and Jana pulls back just as quick. "I should go help mom" she says, hastily sitting up and walking out of the bedroom leaving Jana all to herself.
"Shit" Jana says sitting on the bed.
"She's quite the catch Di" Dianna hears Jason say from the couch. "Though I might change my mind tomorrow if she's not athletic" he adds making Dianna shake her head continuing to the kitchen to help her mom with dinner preparations.
All throughout the preparation time, Dianna keeps replaying in her mind what transpired back in her room. She wasn't sure if she was still pretending, if Jana was still pretending and that scares her. She could not be falling in love with Hollywood's palygirl.
