She has already begun to forget the incident. She didn't want to think of it anymore. She hated herself for not being able to do anything else for Nightcord. Kanade stopped making music. Perhaps it was time for her to stop writing, it was hurting too many people. Kanade began to think of how to dispose of her music equipment.
In the quiet room Kanade laid in her bed, thinking of what to do with her father's equipment since she would be quitting. A alarm begins to sound from Kanade's phone. She got up and walked towards her desk. "Hello?"
"Is this Kanade?"
"Mafuyu?"
"Yeah. . ."
". . .what's up?"
". . .music. . ."
"Music?"
"You stopped. . ."
"What do you mean?"
"You stopped writing. . ."
"Oh. . .how can you tell?"
"You would've continued to post on your personal separate account but you didn't. . ."
". . .right. . .I'm quit-"
"No!"
". . ?"
"You can't. . .you can't quit."
". . .why. . ."
". . ."
"I wasn't able to help anyone with my music and I failed as a leader to keep everyone together."
"No! I know we had a rough ending. . .but you we an amazing leader. . . So please. . .don't. . .quit. . ."
Kanade heard Mafuyu's voice beginning to crack.
"Please. . .you can't quit. . .for others. . .for me. . ."
". . .Mafuyu. . .I appreciate your kind words but I just don't think I can continue to write. . ."
"Please! . ."
"Is everything OK? Is your mother hurting you again?"
"Don't avoid the topic!"
". . ."
"Please. Just a little longer. Write for a little longer. . ."
". . .only if you answer my question."
"Yes. . ."
"Hm?"
There was a pause before Kanade heard Mafuyu speak again.
"Yes. . .she is. . .I need your help. . .I don't know what to do anymore. . ."
". . .I see. . .would you like to come live with me?"
". . .may I?"
"Of course. . ."
Kanade heard Mafuyu throwing many things into her bag.
"Now I'll do my part of the promise and I'll continue to write."
". . ."
The line cut. Soon enough Mafuyu had arrive at Kanade's house. She wasn't sure how her mother let her, but Mafuyu looked like she didn't want to talk about what happened so she didn't ask. After a bit of living together, Kanade like she had promised, had begun to write again.
A week later.
"Kanade"
"Yes Mafuyu?"
"Ena's brother, Akito asked me to join him and create a new music group with him."
"Thats great!"
"But. . ."
". . ?"
". . .I don't want what happened to Nightcord to happen to Akito's group. . ."
"I think you should give it a go"
". . .I don't know if I can do it without you. . ."
"I'm sure you'll do great."
"Thats why I've asked Akito to have you in the group aswell. . ."
". . .oh. . .well thank you Mafuyu, I appreciate it. . .I'd be glad to accept it."
