Sam X Reader 9

Imagine being good friends with Sam, but then he loses his soul.

You walked back into the bunker with Sam, Dean was out with Cas, so that left you two. "God Sam, I cannot believe you! One. You could've gotten yourself killed. Two. When did you become such an ass?" You asked/yelled as you shut the door behind him.

"{Y/N}, I don't get why you care, but the point is that I am still here," he said with venom dripping from his words.

"I get that the piercings and tattoos give off a different image, but Sam, I love you and don't want to lose you. Really I don't, and I don't know what crawled up in your ass and died. But you have changed." You said walking off to your room, but you felt Sam try and stop you.

"Nothing crawled up my ass and died, thank you. But how long have you loved me?" He asked rather confused.

"Ever since I joined your guys' hunting team and I have no clue how I love you right now with how much of an ass you have been lately." You said yanking out of his grip. You walked to your room, slamming the door shut and leaving Sam standing there in the hallway with a dumbfounded look on his face.

You grabbed your laptop and sat down in the chair in the corner of your room. You flipped your laptop to see that your current writing piece was still up. You thought about it for a minute, then you started to type your story, in hopes to bring up your mood and take your mind off of things. You enjoyed writing fanfictions, which a lot of people judged you for writing them, but you really did not care at all. But not a lot of people knew that you wrote either because of the stereotype you fit in.

You heard a loud knock on the door and instantly knew it was Sam. You really did not want to come in, but you knew that he would come in anyways. Just as you predicted it, Sam entered in your room and saw you sitting in the corner. "You know, what is the point of knocking if you just come in anyways." You said giving him a glare.

"I just wanted to say sorry, I don't know what has gotten in to me." He said giving you a sorry look, before turning around.

"Sam wait," you said getting up and giving a hug. Sam just stood there for a minute, before hugging you back.

"{Y/N}."

"Yeah Sam?"

"I over heard Dean and Castiel talking and I think they said that I have lost my soul."

"But how is that possible?"

"I have no clue, but when I came back from hell, I did not have my soul."

"So how does that connect to what is happening."

"Well, when you don't have a soul, you typically do not have any emotion. Therefore, acting like an ass as you put it before."

"Oh okay," you said looking at the ground. You really did not know how to respond to the information. You did not want to believe that Sam could be soulless. Not your Sam. It was not possible, he was the most caring person you knew besides Dean. But here he was, soulless and coming off as an ass to anyone who did not know him.

You sat back down on your bed and you felt tears sting the back of your eyes. You knew Sam for so long and you never thought this could've happened. With all of this, you just felt your heart break even more than it was already broke. But you heard another knock at the door and saw Dean standing there with Castiel. You tried to dry your tears as fast as your could.

"Sam, what the hell did you do to {Y/N}?!" Dean said pushing Sam.

"Dude, I did not do a damn thing," Sam said with anger in his voice, getting closer to Dean. Castiel stepped in between the two of them, in efforts to try to break it up.

"Is Sam really soulless?" You asked as they both snapped their heads in your direction.

"Yes, that is what we believe," Castiel said stepping forward as Dean lightly hit in the arm.

"Why wouldn't you tell me?" You questioned, with a sound of anger in your voice.

"We were going to tell you guys, we just did not want to hurt you." Dean said.

"Yeah okay, you were afraid of hurting me, that is a load of bullshit," you said rolling your eyes.

"Well, what do you want me to say?" Dean asked coming over to you.

"I wanted you to tell me from the start regardless of my feelings. It sucks because you were acting like everything is just rainbows and butterflies," you threw your hands in the air. You walked out of the room and decided that you were just going to go on a walk.

You started walking out of the bunker until the world you knew turned black....
