Chapter Eight: The Date

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping. I ran downstairs, to discover that my mom was making pancakes.

"Hello Honey!" My mom said.

"Hey!" I replied. Mom served me some pancakes and I ate.

"Hey mom? Can I go to the mall? I wanted to go shopping." I asked.

"Yeah sure. Be back by 7:00." I walked out took the keys and drove. As you can guess I wasn't really going shopping, but in reality, going on a date with James! I headed to Secany's and sat down in a booth. I checked my phone. It was 3:50. I waited.
