The bus screeched to a stop. I got off and walked. One foot after another. I came to an old looking house. That's my house. I live in Iowa. I typed in the house code and walked inside. I kicked off my shoes, rushed upstairs, and flopped down on my bed. Posters hung on the walls of old bands and other music related things. Today was a long day. If you've ever taken a big final just before school gets out, you'll know how crazy and stressful it is. Thing is, I thought my summer was going to be boring. Not much visits to see friends, No fun vacations planned, just sitting in my room reading. I was wrong. Way wrong. It turns out, summer was a whole lot different than I thought it was. What I didn't know was that life was about to change. No more hanging off the edge of my bed sulking. No more waiting. It was all going to change in the blink of an eye.
