Chapter Sixteen: The car

We all left the train and walked into the station. Lainey leading the way, we stepped out on Nevada dirt. A parking lot of cars stood in front of me.

"Wait a minute, Acherness didn't say what the car looked like!" I pointed out.

"Yeah good point." James sighed.

"What are we going to do?" Anna asked.

"Do any of you have the keys?" Lainey questioned. I felt in my pockets, and pulled out a set.

"This must be it." I said as I handed the car keys to Lainey. She pressed the unlock button. A green Ferrari's lights went off.

"Nice ride!" James commented. I wonder why I had the key? I thought. Oh. Acherness must have slipped them into my pocket as we were talking. Interesting. Lainey sat in the driver's seat, because she was the oldest. James sat in the passenger seat, while Anna and I sat in the back. James phone rang.
