Kazuo's Intent

Chapter 43

The year 1999......the first day of spring

Heisuke standing before the glass window
I cant believe how much time had already past since I came to Japan and how much things had changed.
I was now a vampire and it is taking a bit longer to get use to the changes of my body than I could imagine, even so wanted to see Kazuo again.
Chion had made it clear to me the way he felt and even though there was some part of me that did feel the same way I knew for sure that I loved Kazuo more and I couldn't wait to see him any longer.

Heisuke leaped smashing though the glass window and landing on the forest floor below.

Chion heard the sound and even though he was infuriated by my decision he did not give chase. I want to believe he finally realized that he couldnt keep me away from Kazuo, I needed to do this no matter what happened. I needed to face Kazuo for myself and so I took off through the trees.

Kazuo was off by himself wandering through the forest. The agony of me dying was eating at him and all he wanted was to fight. Destroy the vampires that took me away from him. I realized that when I focused on solely him its as though I could feel him next to me and I know whats going on with him, I figured out my power as a vampire. I was able to change peoples emotions....maybe not Kazuo's though they were too strong.

Soon I was about to reach the border and I realized Kazuo had noticed me and he was heading towards me. I could feel the tremble in the ground with each touch of his paws.

I was meted at the border with Kazuo's fangs. He was furious. He hadn't realized who it was' he just smelt the vampirsm in me.

"Kazuo...."
Kazuo stepped back for a minute after hearing my voice. He changed to his human form his naked body before me. He  stretched his hand out to me and into my hair, craddling my face as it drew me into the light. As the light shun onto my face I opened my eyes and he saw my florecent hazel eyes.
He stumbled back.
"No....." he was shocked, then he got angry, "What did they do to you!!!! I'd rather you DIED!!"
I reached out to him but the sun stung my skin I couldnt stay in the light for too long without my light-bracelet. Kazuo wont allow me to touch him.

Kazuo stood in the light and I stood in the darkness. I never felt as though we were worlds apart until now.
"I dont ever want to see you again the boy I fell in love with is dead. When next we meet I will kill you" were the last words he said to me before he transformed and left.
