The two men sit at the front of the chapel, admiring the view of the fountain while Drae throws stones in them as a form of entertainment to himself.
Podrick walks up to him.

"You were good, Fair fight I must say"

Podrick tries having a conversation with Drae but he ignores, He focuses on successfully aiming at the fountain.

"Nice eyes you got, Cambion"

Podrick says looking directly at him.

"Don't call me that. Ever"

It was different this time, Drae's voice was even deeper and darker than at the brawl with the enormous Podrick.

"Okay, I understand. Your little secret is safe with me"

Podrick says looking at the fountain. Drae keeps throwing the stones

"Do whatever you want."

"Does the lady know how you look. I don't think she ever saw your face."

(No one in Brighton, except Podrick had ever seen his face and surprisingly no one ever bothered to know, not even Calah.)
Drae stops throwing the stones into the fountain leaving the whole atmosphere for the birds to sing.

" When its time, she'll know"

Anne shows up with a mood worse than the last time they both saw her

"We can leave"

Drae rushes back to Calah.

The council meeting were at hand and they were always held at the cabin in the left wing of the castle the day after the Sabbath. The council never consisted of lot of members strictly because of Hillary, he didn't want too much if ideas from the elders
Todays complaints were too much that Hillary wasn't sure he could keep up with king anymore, he had been king for over years without any stress but lately it's ben different. It was definitely because of the threatening famine approaching the kingdom.

"My lord, the city is hungry. Theft of all, has become seemingly unquenchable in this once holy city of ours"

Asmon informs the king.

(Theft was custom worthy and was like it an occupation, if there was anything Brighton was against, it was theft and sorcery.)

"The people also complain of injustice, thieves go unpunished, women are being raped on a daily basis and the worst of them all is the practice of sorcery "

Lytton adds objectively

"Sorcery?"

Galdot the right hand of the king questions

(Sorcery was a dexterous offence in the time of Liam, the second. And there are barely rumors in Brighton but when there is, they mostly turn out to be true either sooner or later.)

"Late ser Liam had burnt the lot of them alive"

Galdot refuses to be subject to belief.

"It must be the foreigners"

Hillary was sure of it, he also refused to succumb to the wiles of rumours.

"If any sorcerer or sorceress, mage or necromancer is sighted, burn it alive. If any thief or pervert is caught, Behead it. That will be all for now"

Hillary wasn't fulfilled with the judgement he had doled out but be was out of options.

"Your grace, with this unexpected misfortune of the Miledales, will the wedding still hold?"

Ser Asmon asked

"Yes, it still holds"

Hilary said unwaveringly.
He takes his leave from the Cabin while Galdot tries catching up with him as leaves.

"Your grace, those judgements were unlike you. Have you thought them through?"

"There's nothing to think through, a city like ours should not consist of people performing such atrocities."

Hilary confirms and walks away leaving Galdot standing in confusion.
