(Hannah's POV)
The streets had been busy as usual, one would even say busier than usual. I offloaded the fruits from the basket while Olivia cleaned up the place, I'd sure never met someone as hardworking as she was or maybe she enjoyed the work, either ways I was no way like her neither did I envy her for that.
''Thought I'd find you two here''
The Queen of gossip was here, how did she even get to the shop without us noticing. Wasn't it too early for that though?
''It's too early for this, Kate'' olivia replied as she continued to clean the brown dusty table close to the window
''I came to get some fruits, Ian wouldn't let me breathe properly thus morning if I didn't get it for him''
Sometimes I forgot that she lived with her brother and wasn't just some homeless lass going round the streets to feed gossip to people.
''I'll have those Figs'' she pointed to the table I had been offloading on.
''Four Pennies''
I carefully packed up the Figs for her, handing it over when she handed out 2 pennies to my palms.
''I know we both heard me''
She smiled while she placed her hands on the counter
''I'll get it by noon''
Was what she said now, yesterday, the day before and almost every time she came to the shop to get anything.
"You owe all the time'' hannah added
''I promise'' You could see how embarrased she felt after that, but of course it was Kate, she couldn't leave the place without dropping any gossip. A part of me got annoyed by it but another part was curious to know what she had to say and i was sure Hannah was too.
''Do you two know how the wedding ended''
''Uh, with booze?''
Wasn't that how all weddings ended? With a little bit of liquor to birth insanity. Apperently, people enjoying that was quite questionable to me.
"Not this time, it was Calamitous. Some Yarden Fishermen found the prince's corpse alas and brought it to the wedding. Some say the Lady Anne has brought misfortune to the lands while others say the Fishermen killed him''
''You sure make finding his corpse look bad, wasn't he annouced dead already'' I put the basket away
''But on the day of his brother's wedding looks bad, Poor Lady Anne, she must be scared''
Just as I put the basket away to the other side of the counter I sighted the devil through the window. He would have killed us both if he found that a known debtor sat here to feed us gossip
''Father's Coming'' I said with my teeth
Before I was done, I couldn't find Kate anywhere in the shop neither could he, sometimes it seemed she was scared of Father than we both were.

(Morgan's POV)
We got to the gates, it didn't take as long as I thought it would but there was something about this place. I looked up and there was a banner, of course there had to be a banner, we were at the gates of wherever we were, the banner had a cross on it which meant it was a christian city but something felt dark about this Christian city, something wrong.
''We're at Wodiam''
Se took me all the way from Brighton to this strange place just to tell me where we were just at arrival, I was more curious of the reason she even brought me here in the first place.
Wodiam? I knew nothing of this place but it was a Christian city and of the darkness that beheld it, maybe I was wrong, I wasn't a sorcerer, whatever I felt didn't matter anyways.
''And what Varlet are you two''
A guard approached us in the rudedst tone known to man, I'd been called low born all my life but thus tone and accent made it sound more offensive than it should have to me
''Is that how you address the women in your miserable life''
Alice seemed mad, of course she was
''Apologies, Ladies. He's had too much wine''
Another guard interfered, you could see he was scared as he concealed it with a smile but what was he scared? The drunk guard or Alice? Was that even a question, He probably knew she was a witch afterall.
''This early?"
''You don't look like the Lady here'' he replied
All I did was watch, it all seemed like a show and I was enjoying it too much.
She walked closer to the guards with a smile on her pale face, placing her hands on the rude guards cheek.
''Shall we'' the second guard broke the silence
What had just happened? Something was off again, the rude guard had been silent and stiff ever since she touched his cheek, was this her power, what else could she do to people, even his eye balls couldn't move. We folllowed the other guards but my eyes were on the other one, how does that work, it was just a touch on his cheek, maybe I should have been scared of her too.
