**𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚎𝚗𝚝-𝚍𝚊𝚢**I felt like I was going to throw up. Something about being reminded about your entire life in five seconds and trying to cope with it all.
"You remember everything?" Vision asked and I nodded in confirmation, practically as pale as a ghost in the face. I guess it was fitting, technically it was Halloween in this place. "And I really am dead?"
I nodded. "Yeah. My parents are too. I saw other people who should've been gone too. Steve. Nat. Tony. My mom. This place is a walking graveyard. Everywhere I look, I see people who are gone,"
"Wanda is controlling us," Vision stated.
"No," I shook my head. "That's impossible, she wouldn't. She wouldn't do that to me,"
"Perhaps she's lost control. You best get back to the party, Josephine, before we raise any questions. Stay safe and don't tell anyone,"
I nodded and ran back through the street, tossing my costume off, leaving me in a black spandex suit material. I kept running as fast as my feet would carry me until I knocked right into another person.
Another ghost.
"Woah," the cute boy with silver hair and silver lightning bolts on his shirt steadied me by my shoulders from falling over. "Easy there Speedy, or else you might just bulldoze straight into a crowd of four-year-olds that are dressed like Mount Rushmore
"I'm sorry..." my lips parted and my eyes couldn't look away.
"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost," he smiled.
"I kind of feel that way," I smiled sadly.
"Is it cause we dated and now you've got a fancy fiancé?" He asked moving a strand of hair behind my ear. "I swear I'm not gonna try anything. I would've if he wasn't a fancy boy fiancé and you didn't have that ring on your finger but now that you do..."
I poked at his chest. It was hard. Solid. "You feel so real,"
"That's cause I am sweet sweetheart. Real-y gorgeous," he winked. "You want some ice cream?"
"Sure," I found myself saying before I even realized it. Pietro speeded off, wind rushing in my face and he was back before I even knew it, handing me a cone with a strawberry ice cream on top. "That's my favorite kind,"
He grinned. "I didn't forget,"
A teary-eyed smile came over my face as I stared at the ice cream and then I looked back up at him. "Can I give you a hug?"
