Namjoon Pov

I was out for a walk, just around a park when I ran into a candy store just across the road. " A little sweetness won't hurt." I walked into the candy store and behind the counter I saw the most beautiful human being. He had short blonde hair, a light pink shirt, bright maroon eyes and the sweetest smile I've ever seen. 

I was so distracted by looking at the young man I didn't realize him calling out to me. " May I help you?" his voice was so soft and soothing. He looks and sounds like an angel. I finally snapped back to my senses and responded. " Sorry, can I get a pack of gum, please?" "Of course!" He turned his back to the shelves to grab the gum on the shelves and turned to give it to me. "Here you go! That'll be 1.35." I took my wallet out and gave him a two-dollar bill. 

I looked at his name tag and saw his name was 'Kim Seokjin'. I looked up at him and said, "Hey, Seokjin right? I know this is weird and random but do you maybe wanna hang out sometime?" He simply smiled," Funny how you'd ask a complete stranger out after meeting for 2 minutes." " I know, but just thought maybe you would like to hang out sometime." He gave a soft giggle, "Sure, why not." I have to admit, I didn't expect him to agree so quickly, but I'm glad he accepted.

It was a few days later after I met Seokjin hyung. I actually called earlier on to see if he would maybe like to hang out. Lucky for me, he accepted. I am a bit nervous. I haven't gone on a date ever since my last relationship. That was nearly 2 years ago. Honestly it didn't affect me much. I guess she just wasn't the one. Oh well, life goes on.

I was about to leave my apartment just to take a walk when my phone rang. It was a friend of mine, Min Yoongi hyung. 

"Hi, hyung. What's up?"

"Hey Joon, can I ask for a favour?"

"Uh, sure. I hope it's nothing stupid or dumb like last time."

"Um excuse me, when have I ever asked you to do something dumb or stupid"

"Last time you asked me to get Tae from the park because you were too scared to be infront of an old lady. And one time you asked me to find Hobi hyung cause you were too lazy to move from bed. And again, you onc-"

"Okay okay, I get it. This time, it's important. Please Namjoon-ah"

" Look hyung I have somewhere important to go. This needs to be a quick thing then done."

"It is. Look, I was supposed to meet up with a friend to get something but Hoseok wanted to go on a date and I couldn't say no to him cause he did the 'eyes' again. Can you get it and give it to me on Sunday."

"Ugh, fine. Where do we meet up?"

"Meet him at the cafe just 3 blocks where you live. I'll message him and he'll be there shortly. I promise it won't take much of your time"

"Fine, but you owe me hyung."

"Don't worry, I'll pay you back." 

Before I could even answer he hang up. So much for a free day. I contacted Seokjin hyung to tell him I'll be a bit late for the date. He replied but seemed a bit disappointed, but I assured him that I would try my best to make it on time. And to my surprise, I did. I texted him immediately and our date was set. I can't wait.
