No one Pov
Jin walked in and sat down in the waiting room until his name is called. Scanning the pile of comics and magazines, he took a model magazine that grabbed his attention. He kept reading the magazine with interest. It had him thinking where he would be if he was healthier.
When Jin figured he had leukemia, it felt like he stopped breathing. He didn't know what to do. His life flashed right before his eyes. Everything he wants to do is now limited. He kept the truth to himself cause he didn't want to worry anyone. But like any other, lies always catch up to you. His dongsaengs were the first and hopefully last people to find out. They were devastated.
They promised to help Jin in any situation he's in. No matter the trouble. "Kim Seokjin." Snapping out of his thoughts after hearing his name, he quickly gathered his bag and left with the nurse. "Good evening Mr. Kim, what seems to be the problem?" the nurse asked. "Well, I came to collect my medication. I made an appointment for a checkup as well," Jin said with a small smile. "Alright Mr. Kim, doctor will be with you shortly."
After the nurse left, Jin sat on the bed. To think he can end up on this bed anytime. It scared him. He always asks himself these 3 questions: "Will I ever have a future?" "Will someone love me for me and not because they pity me?" "If I had a second chance to life, what would I do?"
Just then the doctor walks in with soft smile. "Mr. Kim? Are you ready for your check up?" Jin nodded his head slowly, ready for session of needles and blood. (An: I'm not really sure if blood check ups work like this or not so please excuse my inexperience)
After the checkup, Jin sat on the bed with a weak expression. He never knew what to expect from each check up and it frightened him. The results would always come out positive but...it seems luck was fading with him from today.
When he saw his results, his heart stopped. 'Well this just keep getting better and better, doesn't it.' Test results came negatively. "Seokjin-ssi, have you been taking your medication daily?" "Yes doctor, I have a reminder and my friend checks on me too." The doctor noted this and stayed silent. After a while he spoke,"Seokjin-ssi, I'm afraid to say...the medicine has lost its effect." Seokjin stood there trying to process what he just heard. "I'm sorry, I don't think I understand." the doctor took a breathe and answered once again,"Mr. Kim, I'm sorry but unfortunately there's nothing we can do..."
"The medication seemed to loose effect about 2 weeks ago."
"You have 6 months left to live"

Jin made it home with a heavy heart. It was already bad enough he couldn't live a normal life, but now his life is shortened. As he entered his apartment it hit him. 'This is really my life. Nothing but wide void. Feeling as if nothing can fill it up.' He sat on his couch and starred into nothing thinking about his life overall. "So this is how it ends," he laughs bitterly. "I'm really going to die before having a loving partner, having family of my own, completing my dream. Wow...life is just great."
As Jin was thinking of what his life could be, he got an unexpected message. He picked his phone to see who it was. It was Namjoon. Unconsciously, he smiled a little. It slipped his mind whenever talking to Namjoon. He unlocked his phone to see what he sent him.
Namjoon💙
