Chapter 3

Eliza POV

You got to be fucking kidding me. Seriously of all the students at this college and she is my roommate. This must be a joke.

We keep staring at each other. My excitement and happiness has quickly turned into anger. She looks almost kinda scared.

"What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" I grit out through my teeth.

"I-I-I didn't know w-we would be r-roommates. I-I'm so-sorry. I didn't want t-to do w-what I did to y-you, b-but I had no c-choice" she managed to stutter while starting to cry a bit.

I almost feel bad for her, but then I remind myself that she ruined my life. "I don't wanna hear your stupid excuses. You ruined my life and then you show up here. Are you determined to ruin my life more!? You are nothing but a-a-a stupid slut" I yell at her.

While I was yelling she backed more and more away from me and started crying more than before. "I-I'll go back t-to the office a-and see if I can g-get a-another room" she cried out while slowly walking towards the front door. I see her walk through the door. As soon as she steps outside I hear someone yell "Slut alert here comes the slut". She closes the door behind her and I immediately fall to the floor.

I start hugging myself and crying while reliving the day I found out Alex had cheated on me. Remembering every word of the article and how it stung as I had read them.

I grab my phone and text my sisters.

The Schuyler Sisters

Eliza: Can you guys come to my room 317. I need you!

Angie: Of course on my way be there in 2 min

Peggs: Coming

Thank god they were coming. I really really needed them right now.

Only a few minutes later they both arrived knocking on the door. "Come in" I cried just loud enough for them to hear. They opened the door and ran to my side not even bothering to close the door all the way leaving a small gap.

"What's wrong?" they asked at the same time while hugging me tight.

"S-she's here. She came in a-and sh-she's my r-roommate"

"Who is here? Who is it?" Angelica asked in a soft voice.

"M-Maria Lewis".

"Wait, isn't that the girl that Alex..." Peggy starts and I nod in response.

"S-she went to s-see i-if she could change rooms" I silently say.

"I swear to god if that little bitch... I'm gonna..." Angelica is interrupted when the front door creaks open to reveal Maria.

It looks like she is about to back out of the room, but then Angelica hisses "Come in and close the door. I think we need to have a little talk".

Maria looks terrified as she slowly closes the door and starts to walk towards us with small steps. Angelica stands up while Peggy continues to hug me tightly.

"Sit" Angelica hisses while pointing at the couch in the room. With a scared expression Maria slowly reaches the couch and sits. Her hands are nervously fidgeting in her lap. Angelica stands right in front of her. She starts yelling at Maria and Maria starts crying. "And for your sake I really hope you were able to move to another room" Angelica finishes. "I-I tried, b-but there w-weren't a-a-any. They w-were all full" Maria cries.

"Then until they can move you somewhere else you better not hurt my sister again. If you do, I will make your life a living hell".

"Like it isn't already" Maria mumbles.

"What was that? I didn't quite hear you"

"I think you did. There is nothing you can do to make my life any worse than it already is. Oh and I have never ever wanted to hurt Eliza, but I guess you, her and everyone else is too stupid to even realize that" I hadn't expected Maria to say anything like that, and especially not to my sister. No one talks that way to my sister. Maria stood up and looked at Angelica still with tears in her eyes, but also a fierce look.

"Did you just call us stupid? That was a big mistake on your part. You say you never wanted to hurt Eliza, but you did. It's your own fault that your life is crap now. You are nothing but a dirty whore" and with that Angelica slapped Maria on the cheek so hard that she fell to the floor she stayed, but still looking up at Angelica.

"No one and I mean no one hurts my sister without paying for it. Love my sisters more than anything in this life, too bad no one will ever love you that much. Come on girls let's go get coffee and leave this slut to pick herself up and if she knows what's best for her she will leave you alone Eliza.

Peggy helped me up and with my sisters I left Maria lying on the floor. I was in shock over the scene that had just played and over Angelica's actions of slapping Maria.
