The Popular Genres or the Ones I Read:
Romance: Mostly R-rated stuff
Teen-fiction: A story about how messed-up a teen's life is.
Humor: An attempt at comedy.
Werewolf: Fantasies about Jacob Night and twists of Twilight or Teen Wolf.
Vampire: Stories about Mosquitoes in human form.
Horror: Different ways of dying.
Mystery: Basically, a written episode of CSI or any other crime shows.
Historical Fiction: Stories about your great, great, great, great, great, great, great grand-parents' times.
Action: Guns, 'nough said.
Fan-fiction: Girls' fantasies about One Direction, Twilight or Harry Potter.
Chick-lit: Pink and glitter.
Short-story: An un-finished story.
Poetry: Depressing thoughts that rhyme.
Adventure: Girl stuck with boy or boy stuck with girl.
