So, I'm fully aware that there are different types of vision loss; but in this fic, I'm only gonna cover being fully blind and being visually impaired. All love to the person who requested this. Xoxo, the author.
Fully Blind:
-You joined the AMP after the thought you were really good at playing video games for someone who was blind.
-Right after you moved in they did tons of research so they could make your transition as easy as possible. Each of their doors has their name in braille so that you can always know which is which. You have your tricks to finding your way around, but they still put covers over all the sharp corners in case you bump into anything
-When you watch movies as a group, they always put on audio description, unless you decide to listen to the movie on your phone so that you don't disturb them with the audio description
-Your fans know that if they want to communicate with you they have to donate and they are totally okay with that. Sometimes, Kai comes in to read them to you, but most of the time you listen for donations
-When you leave the house with the guys you bring your cane, but the guys also never leave your side. Duke on one side and Fanum on the other, you make your way around the set. "I have a cane for a reason." you giggle. "Nah, we're much better." Duke says patting your shoulder.
-The guys will buy you custom gifts randomly. Like, it'll be a random Tuesday and Agent will give you a new gaming keyboard with the keys in braille. You started to not use products for seeing people at all because their gifts slowly take over.
Visually Impaired:
-When you started losing your vision, they guys were by your side the whole way. They would go with you to your doctors appointments, they were with you when you got fitted for your cane, and they were with you when your eyes started changing colors and you got a lot of hate on the internet.
-When your vision started getting really bad you fell into a deep depression. Agent would come into your room and drop off some food. Always checking up on you. Duke came in once or twice, but he's not really good at comforting people, so he would just sit at the edge of the bed with his hand on your shoulder as you cried in his lap.
-Kai invited you to stream with him once. It was really just you sitting next to him as he reacted to Tiktoks on Reddit. "Yo! Look at this on- oh shit, sorry I forgot you can't see." He said covering his mouth. You burst out crying and ran to your room. Safe to say that guys really yelled at him for that one
-Ray was the only one who didn't treat you any different. "Oh shit. You can't see?" he asked. You shake your head and frown. "That's cool. You can't see any ugly people." is all he said before going back to watching the movie playing on your monitor. "You don't think it's a bad thing?" you ask raising an eyebrow. "Nah, why would it be? I mean, yeah, you can't see, but like sight is over rated." he said with a heavy accent making your giggle. "Thanks, Ray." you said hugging him.
-When you started posting selfies again on Instagram, your comments were flooded with compliments and people saying how pretty your eyes were. You posted another video saying how crazy it was that people were being so nice to you and it went viral. Many blind influences reached out to you to collab
-Fanum helped you put on your make-up for the first time after you started losing your vision. It took about seven YouTube tutorials and three consults from my friends, but we figured it out and he did me up right. I got all dolled up and Duke took me out to cheer me up.
