Dani caught me putting down her phone and also heard me talking to someone but didn't hear the words.

"Heeseung, who were you talking to? "

Should I be honest or no?

I think I should.

"I answered your call. Firstly, I apologize for not asking for you permission. Second, I think it was your ex."

The shock on Dani's face says it all.

She was stoked to hear that.

"Y- you talked to Edward? "

"Yes, come sit here.", I said as I beckoned my hand to come sit beside me on the hospital bed.

She then walked towards me and sat beside me.

"Yes, it was him.", I answered her question.

"What did he say?", she asked.

"It was just him calling you cringe names and warning me about your family's safety and all that."

"Cringe names?"

"Yes, like babe, bae, darling and all. I hated that."

"He always does that.", Dani said as she sighs.

"Can you tell me more about him?", I asked in concern.

"Sure."

She then told me the whole story from when they passed notes to the part she caught him cheating, herself.

"Let's do a police report.", I suggested as I held her arm.

"No, no, no. He will hurt Mom and Dianne.", she said as she held on tight to my arm.

"On my watch, he won't. These messages he sent you is more than enough to be evidence if the police asks for it."

She then looked at me, full of worry in her eyes.

"Let's go with Manager Sejin.", I suggested.

"No, I don't want to trouble Mr Sejin."

"Dani, trust me and let's just go for it.", I said as I looked at her in the eyes.

She took a deep breath once more and nodded.

"Let's do it."

All of a sudden, a doctor entered.

"Mr Lee, I have some good news for you."

"Yes what is it, Doctor?", Hee asked.

"You can discharge tomorrow morning!", the doctor exclaimed.
