As of now, you were stood at a table, in the location of the new test. Your little task at the moment was attaching knifes to a chain, then the chain to the table, so they're unable to be removed. Mark claims it's time for you to learn more of the building side of things, so that your tasks are completed faster. 2 pairs of hands are better then 1. As you finished the last chain, Mark came in with 2 head Traps, and some equipment you'll both need.

You hammer a hook in the wooden table, through the hoop of a chain, hammering it until the hooked side was deep into the wood. Mark placed everything down on the floor. "Why do I have to learn the complicated stuff again?" He looks at you.

"Because, [Y/N], it'll make everything so much quicker and easier if we both know what we're doing. And besides, this isn't actually the complicated stuff. All the actual complicated side technical stuff is already pre built by John. We've just got to do the small stuff and run the checks."

"Okay but I still don't get why you can't just do that and I'll do the smaller stuff. Like what I'm doing now is fine." You place the hammer down on the table, "I'd rather be your little assistant then actually get deep into all this.'

"And I'd rather I had more help so we can go in and go out of these things." You walk over to him.

"Fine whatever, but I'm not promising your little lesson will go in."

"I'm at least trying." Mark then sits the floor, you roll your eyes and join him on the floor.

He's lucky he's loved or I'd refuse full stop.

He places the head device infront of you. "right so, one is already done, i never got round to completing the other."

"You built these from scratch, on your own?"

"Yeah? Why, impressed? You should know how crafty my hands are." He says casually, hinting at the events from the other night. He then placed everything you'll need infront of you. "I'll demonstrate on one side of ot, then I'm leaving you to the other side while I go do the usual standard checks."

"So I get shown once then left to it?"

"[Y/N], assembling these things aren't that hard, just pay attention." You nod then focus on what he was doing, as he explains what it is that your going to attach.

It wasn't actually that far off from being finished, all that was left was too attach the thick screws which will be screwed into the test subjects heads. After attaching the screws, all you had left to do was make sure it reacted to the timer correctly, if not then you'd have to fiddle withe some wires. Mark finished his little demonstration. "See easy?" He handed you the head piece. You looked at him completely confused. "Come on, it's nor hard. You'll be fine." He then stood up, leaving you to it as he does his little checks.

At first you just stare at the device, but then you start to put the screw in its designated spot. After messing and readjusting it, you managed to get it symmetrical to Marks example. Feeling pretty proud of your self you lift it up smiling.

You place it back down and activated the timer, you sat and watch it as the timer ticks down, the screws finally turn, in sync and on time. "AHA! YES!" You cheer out, catching Marks attention.
