You laughed a bit, "A punishment? Hah, Try you oversized cat."

That made the panther mad, "Oversized cat..? OVERSIZED CAT..? YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I FIGHT FOR MY PLACE IN THIS RUNDOWN SHACK OF A LAB. I WISH I WOULD HAVE AN EASIER LIFE. YOULL, YOULL.." 

The panther breathed heavily, "you'll regret that.. you'll.."

"y-"

The panther started wheezing. You got a bit concerned. Was it fine? 

After staring at it wheezing and opening its mouth, For what felt like years. It shook itself and looked at you dully. "fuck you.." it said.

When it said that, It blinked, then opened its mouth, Letting out such an eerily high-pitched wail that you almost didn't hear it.

 "Dude, What are you doing?"

It didn't reply, Just kept wailing. 

After it wailed for about 2 minutes, You heard paw steps. They were as silent as a mouse, You also saw dark shapes slinking around the lab near you. You were alarmed--So you quickly grabbed a katana from a meter or two from you.

Once you grabbed it, You heard the first snarl. Your eyes widened at the scene.

About eight panthers surrounded you, All with hostile glints in their eyes. You noticed the first panther you talked to was on the ground now, One of them heard them wheezing again and they quickly went to them.

You went into a defensive position with the katana, Even though you were frozen with fear.
