I snuck out of the house and ran and met up with Cole. Instead of my usual jumping in his arms I wrapped my arms around him and immediately started making out with him as he did his best to guide us to sitting on the blanket. I trailed my kisses to his neck and he groaned
C- ok I'm thinking you win this time on missing me most based off all this
I giggled and kissed his neck a few more times then I could hear footsteps as well as gabes voice
C- is that
I clamped my hand over coles mouth and did my best to keep us quiet and hidden until I knew they were gone and we were safe.
C- what was that about
L- they plan to go after you
C- you mean again
L- no I mean you specifically and I didn't even know they did anything to you guys already until this afternoon
C- it's ok babe but why me specifically I didn't do anything wrong hell I saved you I'm the good one
L- trust me I tried pointing that out but they said going after you is the best way to prove a point or whatever
C- so these kisses aren't necessarily out of missing me it's out of worry
L- a mix of both honestly I hope that's ok
C- as much as I would like to fight them and move on I like the idea of being with you even more and I'm very grateful you are trying to keep me safe
L- well of course
C- I love you I hope it's not too soon to say that but I do I really love you baby
L- not too soon at all cause I've been dying to tell you how much I love you too
C- thank goodness
I smiled and he kissed me and while the kiss was never ending it wasn't rushed and filled with need like our makeout session was yesterday but instead it was slow and full of love for each other. We took our usual nap together and shortly after we woke up and we're getting ready to go our separate ways we heard and saw the guys heading back home.
C- be careful getting back home now since they're all awake and clearly upset that they didn't find me
L- I will don't worry now you be careful too

We kissed and he held me in his arms for a while then I headed home and thankfully made it inside and in bed without being noticed. When I woke back up I took my usual shower then headed to the kitchen to find a grumpy gabe
L- what's wrong with you
G- we didn't find him
L- I still don't see why he's the one you have to go after but whatever
G- I know you don't but it's the principle of the thing
L- ookk but I'm sorry you didn't find him
G- it's fine
L- when do you plan on trying again
G- not sure yet
L- ok
