Lauren's pov

Ever since the day of the press conference everything has shifted. Pack members have been roaming the others land since it's now allowed, gabe has been almost full on friends with Cole lately. And to top it off yesterday when I was hanging out with my girls catching up cole and his friends all hung out with gabe and his friends. Cole was staying the night at my house and we were currently cuddled up in bed.
C- watcha thinking about babe
L- just how everything changed lately and how it's all worked out in our favor which means you'll be mister alpha someday
C- that I will
L- we don't have to separate the packs or create our own
C- nope but we will still have our own family right
L- of course baby that wasn't just relying on what the outcome of meeting it was just facts that someday we will bring a baby or babies into this world
C- good
L- so you said you know Alex right
C- yeah
L- do you think she would ever go back to gabe
C- I don't know I mean it was a rejection like yeah you can be together still but it's not the same
L- true
C- I know you want gabe to be happy baby and he seems to be doing alright
L- I know but he deserves to be in love too
C- that he does we will just have to see how things go
L- ok
C- now that's enough thinking for tonight ok otherwise you'll be up all night
L- true
He kissed me and I smiled against the kiss and kept the kiss going for a while then I pulled away and we went to bed.  In the morning I went to the kitchen to grab something to drink when there was a knock on the door.
L- hello
Girl- hi I don't know if you know me or would be ok with me being here but my name is Alex I was looking to talk to your brother
L- talk to him about what
A- that's kind of private
L- well I need to know this isn't going to be a conversation where you break his heart again
A- I hope not
L- then I'll get him for you
I went to gabes room and let him know she was here to talk to him then I went back to my room and watched them talk from my window.
C- what are you doing
L- good morning baby
C- good morning now I ask again what are you doing
L- Alex is here to talk to gabe so I'm watching
C- babe that's an invasion of privacy
L- so what
I watched and everything seemed civil and then I saw them kiss which made me happy.
C- ok that's enough watching for you you can see it's going well
L- but but
He gently pushed me back on to my bed then crawled over me. He still had his morning hair and was only in boxers as usual and I no longer cared about anything else going on but him and he knew it too and smirked and kissed my mark.
C- still mad I dragged you away from the window
L- not at all
C- that's my girl
I wrapped my legs around his waist getting lost in a makeout session when gabe walked in interrupting us.
L- whatttt
G- you told me to tell you how it goes so what do you think I'm in here for
L- true so what's up
G- she wants to give us a shot and get back together
L- yay that's amazing
C- I'm happy for you man
G- thanks
L- now I say this with all my love get out of my room gabe
G- I'm going I'm going
Cole laughed as gabe walked out
C- funny how just minutes ago you only cared about what was going on with them now you're quick to kick him out
L- like you don't know why I want him out
C- oh I do but why don't you tell me anyways
L- because I want to go back to our makeout session
C- not the words I was looking for
L- too bad
Before he could say anything I reattached our lips and I could feel him smiling against it which made me roll my eyes but didn't mean I enjoyed it any less. A while later we got dressed for the day and went downstairs and talked with gabe a bit more on it all and he told dad everything and dad was ok with it. I get to be happy and thankfully now he does too!
