Lauren's pov

When we talked about needing to have the meeting I didn't think it meant the next day! I shut my alarm off and answered cole seeing all the texts from the girls cause I have yet to explain to them what's going on they know I'm ok but that's all they know and I'm hoping after today I can explain and we can all move on happily. And since this is an alpha meeting so to speak I must look nice so I threw on my sweater dress and flats and did my hair and makeup then headed to meet up with dad and gabe.
T- you look very pretty sweetie
L- thank you
We headed out and it didn't take long for cole and his dad to show up. Cole immediately sat next to me and wrapped his arm around me while my dad started the conversation.
T- so who would like to discuss their thoughts first
G- I would
L- of course you would
T- Lauren
L- sorry
T- gabe go ahead
I sat there rolling my eyes and trying to keep cole calm as we sat there listening to gabe drone on and on how this can't be allowed it would never work and blah blah blah. I got fed up and interrupted
L- I'm sorry but I can't listen to him anymore dad this is not his decision I don't even understand why he's here
G- because I'm about to be alpha
L- exactly you're about to be meaning you're not now meaning your word doesn't mean anything
G- oh really if you wanna play it that way honestly your word doesn't matter here you're the only girl here you're only here because it involves you
L- do not make me slap you again Gabriel
T- that's enough gabe quit talking down to your sister acting like she's below you for being a girl
L- thank you
Now it was gabes turn to roll his and then Scott and dad shared their feelings and they at least are willing to give it a try and put aside all the differences so we can be together it will come down to how the pack will handle it.
G- you can't be serious
T- we are and this is how it's going to go now grow up and get over it
G- this isn't going to end well I can feel it
C- I'm never leaving her I love her so guess what buddy you're stuck with me so do as your dad said and grow up and move on
L- gabe how would you feel if you found your mate and I was trying to do everything I could to make sure you didn't stay with her huh
G- there's just stuff you don't know none of you do
L- and what would that be
G- I'm not going to talk about it
And with that he walked out and our dads said we will need to go public with the news soon and go from there which they would work on setting up so we were free to go
L- any clue what that was all about with gabe
C- nope
L- hmm
C- don't worry about him right now just think about how we get to be together as things should be now we don't need to hide I can take you out you can actually spend the night with me instead of us sleeping in the woods better yet I can mark you the correct way now
L- that you can so why don't we take care of that now
C- it'd be my pleasure
I giggled and he kissed me then trailed his kisses to my neck kissing every spot he could once seeing it was driving me crazy. He then proceeded to bite my neck and officially mark me then kissed the mark and licked it.
L- coleeee
C- what baby do you want me to stop
L- no but this shouldn't be happening steps away from the alpha community building
C- haha I'll respect that for now
He took a step back and looked at my neck and smiled.
L- I love you
C- I love you too now what do you wanna do now
L- yeahhh about that
C- you're leaving me aren't you
L- I need to talk to my girls I was with them when the pains occurred yesterday and have yet to explain like they know I'm ok but they don't know why and I'd like for them to know before we go public with the news
C- I can respect that plus I should really tell my friends the truth as well
L- we can meet back up tonight tho
C- come to my house tho
L- I think that can be arranged
C- good
I giggled and kissed him then we went our separate ways and I met up with the girls at Destinis house.
Des- there you are
B- why are you so dressed up
A- you have a mate mark start talking
L- so after the incident at the bonfire I've had a mate and have been keeping it a secret due to who he was because we both knew our families may not be too happy let alone the packs because my mate is cole
B- as in alpha Scott's son
L- correct
Des- I know he's the enemy or was anyway but I gotta say you're lucky cause he's hot
L- that he is but yesterday our families found out because gabe found cole this time and was fighting him which caused the pain I was dealing with
A- how did you feel it tho you didn't have your mark
L- technically no and technically yes I did

L- so our dads are willing to put any pack problems aside and let us be together so they are putting together some way for us to go public and announce the news but gabe is still losing his mind not wanting us to be together
Des- but why like honestly cole hasn't done anything wrong like in every situation he's been good even before you were mates with any problem occurred with them cole was always good
L- trust me I know but he just has a hatred towards him I don't get it
Girls- weird
L- I hope you're not mad I hid it
B- not at all we completely understand and we're so happy you found your mate
L- thanks I'm just hoping the rest of the packs will be supportive
