"You hit him with your car? That's how you guys met?"
"Yup. And I wouldn't have it any other way."

"DO WE HAVE to go back?" With a pout, Willow hands her bag to Cliff, who swings it into the trunk.
"Unfortunately, yeah." After dusting off his hands, the bassist closes the trunk and heads inside to find a comfortable seat.
We wanted to stay until we celebrate James' birthday at the very least, but they've already stayed longer than they should have. The first of August, which is just a few days away, is meant to be the start of the Metallica Ride The Lightning tour. Besides, James's birthday fell during the tour, so there was another obstacle.
I take my place back in the front seat to be greeted by James, a giant grin plastered on his face. "Hi."
"Hi." I beam, feeling my cheeks heat up for no reason whatsoever.
"Is this how it's gonna be from now on?" Lars comments, his face contorting from a look of annoyance to a look of disgust.
"Shut the fuck up, Lars." James shoots a quick glare his way before facing the front of him, and starting the car.
Me and James headed home together after we had our talk a few days ago. After I found Josie and Willow impatiently waiting on my bed, I was thankful that James said he'd stay downstairs for a bit.

I was immediately bombarded with a million questions per second. It was a little overwhelming, not being able to grasp anything that they were saying.
"What the fuck, Olive?!"
"How long has this been happening?"
"Are you guys dating?"
"Yeah, are you guys like a 'thing' now?"
I yelled at them to shut up, needing to take a breath. I sat down on the bed in front of them, not knowing what to do with my hands or where to put them, so instead, I placed them underneath my thighs.
"I guess I started liking him a little bit ago. Like, I didn't even notice I did. It just hit me, all of a sudden." I mumbled and kept my head down, finding it a little embarrassing to talk about this. "I don't know, he's just cool. And he's sweet. And he makes me laugh." I couldn't keep the smile from creeping up on my lips, but I made sure to hide it so that the girls wouldn't tease me about it.
"So are you guys fucking?"
My head lifts, eyes bulging at Josie's bluntness, earning a laugh from the blonde next to her.
"No, we're not fucking! We've only kissed." I murmured, refraining from telling them about our first kiss during New Year's. "All I know is that I like him. I really do." I concluded, resulting in both Josie and Willow looking at me somberly.
