"Mommy done now nuh" I frustratedly huffed. She a the next extra one. From the lady hear seh mi a go pon a date she nuh stop question mi, just a ning ning inna mi ears like mosquito especially after hearing who I'm going on said date with.
"Yuh mean the same O'Deyne weh yuh use to complain bout?" The quizzical look she's giving me is making nervous
I looked away and nodded
"You hated him! Nuh the same bwoy weh used to tease you and mi tell yuh say maybe a like him like yuh and yuh tek Jesus off a the cross seh unuh hate each other? She asked with one eyebrow raised

"So yuh mean to tell mi seh all that time yuh come a tell mi bout the bwoy nah leave yuh alone and bare tease him tease yuh...after all a dat...you and him end up deh? She says with a confused yet amused expression. Mi deven know wah fi answer her say cuz mi just as confused how it end up desso.
Mi did hate him at first yes but then him start behave different almost like he had multiple personalities lol the bwoy just did bipolar mi caah find no other reasonable explanation fi how mi end up start like him.

I just smiled, all though she's the most miserable person I know she's still a cool mom certain way.
My phone started vibrating in my pocket so I reached down, took it out, it was a FaceTime from Kris
I smiled cuz I know she gonna create a whole heap of excitement
As soon as I answered I could see her side eyeing me so I side eyed her back
"Biiiiiiiitch" she says being all extra like I knew she would.
I filled her in on what's been happening with me and my long time ex and she's been skeptical but supportive still, reminding me to take it slow.
"Hey K" mommy greeted her, Kris is like a second daughter to my mom, she's the reason I even met Kris which was almost a year and some months ago but it's like we've known each other our whole lives, when we met we instantly clicked and from there our friendship bloomed, where you see me you see her and vice versa she got my back I got hers.
