The Rival's "Girlfriend"

I don't think we should continue with this.

"Now tell me! What's bothering you?" Pablo asked as he sat on his bed.

"I can't sleep..."

"You sure it's just that?"

I nodded.

"Noa, if you don't feel good or if something happened, you have to tell me."

"It's nothing really, I just can't sleep for some reason, that's all."

"You can stay here then. I didn't plan to sleep so..."

"It's fucking 2am. and you're tired from this whole day and..."

"Okay first, sit down! I'm not gonna bite you. And second, who told you that I'm tired?"

"Well..." I sat on his bed next to him.
"I assumed that you are, like the rest of us."

"Oh Pedri and Hope are not tired."

"Huh?" I looked at him confused.

"You haven't heard?"

"Heard what?"

"And I thought that you couldn't sleep because of them..."

"No... Wait! Don't tell me that they..."

"Forget all cute things they do, this is another level... Level that we shouldn't hear..."

"Luckly, I haven't heard them, but I don't know how I'm going to look at them serious tomorrow."

For real, it's kind of awkward when you know what happened.

"It's a normal thing. They love each other, I understand all that and I understand everything they do... Well... You know what... But I don't have to hear that, you know!"

"I totally agree... I'm happy for them, but they can leave those things for when they're alone."

Then silence. Honestly, I got used to this silence between us. It's not that awkward after some time.

"What are you watching?" I asked looking at the TV.

"I was watching some movie, I don't even know the name because I started watching it a few minutes ago."

"Oh wait... I know this one!"

"Really?"

"Yeah it's - After we collided!"

"I don't know, but it's some cute and romantic. Not that I like it much, but I don't hate it either."

"This is romantic movie. It's about two people who fell for each other after being some kind of enemies... Or I'm the only one who got it that way. She fell in love with him, but he fell harder. And there are other movies that shows their lives and..."

"Okay okay... I don't have to know everything. I wasn't so interested so..."

"I've watched it like a million times and I can't get bored of it."

"How?!" he looked at me shocked.

"It's like that with music and songs. You like one song, you're gonna play it over and over until you get bored of it. But it's not like that with me. I can't get bored of my favorite song."

"Okay, I have to agree with you there..."

"And another example, it's like that with people too. When you find someone that you like, you can't get bored of him or her."  I pulled my legs closer to my chest, hugging my knees.

"You're right about that too!"

"But you know what... I won't watch it this time. I can't deal with crying right now. I know that I'll cry."
