Chapter Two

Ranie Pov.

I went inside the school , it looked like any other highschool , you can't tell the difference between humans and supernatural beings which was a good start.
I unlocked my mobile in order to search my locker number , I opened the school's website and wrote my name then my locker number and my schedule appeared on the screen , I took a screenshot then while I was walking I crashed into someone and I was about to fall when strong hands caught me , I had expected that these hands belonged to the one who I crashed into but it didn't, then I felt it .

A feeling which is hard to describe it was like a heavy wave of electricity is flowing through my body but fortunately when I started panicking the person who was holding me let go

I felt relieved, I was wondering whether I should thank the person who caught me or just walk away but my thoughts were cut by the sound of yelling from behind me

"Next time you better look where you are going ,Jacen" the boy who caught me said this to how I assume is called Jacen
" I a...am so....orryy" Jacen stuttered , he looked afraid
With that Jacen walked away followed by the boy who just caught me , I noticed that he has blonde hair and he was tall wearing a red t-shirt and a black jeans , I didn't want to waste time , So I tried to read his mind to see what his name is or why did he catch me and why did he make the poor boy afraid by yelling at him and most importantly why did I felt a heavy wave of electricity when he touched me ?? But something unexpected and strange happened.
I couldn't read his mind it seemed like there was a huge wall blocking me from hearing him , at first I thought the problem is in me so I tried to read a mind of the girl standing at the end if the corridor and I heard her thinking " poor boy , Jacen "
Okay seriously that is weird to be honest why can't I read his mind like I do with all the other people !
I am sure this is not even possible !
I was cut off my thoughts when the bell rang , I had English now so I hope it would be fun and also I hope to not pump into the mysterious boy nor Jacen .

But it seemed that Luck is not on my side today.
As I entered the English classroom i spotted the mysterious boy from earlier he was staring at me , I looked away immediately and tried to pretend that i didn't catch his eyes .
I went to sit in the front of the class far away as much as possible from the mysterious boy , And I have no idea why I call him the mysterious boy maybe because i didn't know his name or maybe he was mysterious to me because he was the only person alive that I can't read his mind , I didn't know.
The teacher was late so everyone was talking with each other and I was just sitting alone thinking about the mysterious boy at the back of the class .
I really wanted to go talk to him but I was very afraid , then I felt a paper being thrown on my desk , I quickly looked at it , I read silently
"Don't be afraid love I won't bite you although I would like to try one day"
And at the end of the note there was a signature that I didn't understand
I looked behind me to know from who is this paper when I turned around and saw him for the first time
He had blue eyes that looked like the color of the ocean , the kind of eyes that you can stare at for hours and don't get bored , he had that smirk on his face .
My thoughts were cutt off by the teacher entering the class she started talking but I didn't pay attention to what she was saying I was in another world with a lot of questions unanswered and one person can answer them ........
The mysterious boy at the back of the class .
