opportunity of a life time

(y/n) was having trouble opening his own two eyes as he felt his body didn't want to wake up at all after what had happened. Though it could be because one of his rib cages were broken which is never good for obvious reasons. Despite that, (y/n) was trying his best to wake up the best he could as he wanted to see his friends again all together after being separated for what felt like an eternity of being split up. After he started to wake up, he felt that he was sleeping on another hospital bed once again, for the third time.

(y/n): i'm really on another hospital bed again for the third time, god i hope this doesn't become common.

He said to himself, he was really hoping he didn't have to get used to this because god, that would be really annoying to deal with after a while. As he looked around, he noticed that the Electromagnet, the thing that was keeping him alive, was still being powered by a car battery.

(y/n): oh you god to be kidding me, my life is still depending on a goddamn car battery.

He said in annoyance of the situations he was still in. Then out of nowhere, Mei just jumped out of nowhere like a NPC character.

Mei: yep! It is! I told you to get used to it for a bit.

She said (y/n) like there was nothing wrong that was going on.

(y/n): mei! What the hell is going on? How long was I knocked out?

He asked, thinking he might be knocked out for a while.

Mei: oh not for too long, you've been knocked out for about, for at least 5 days.

When (y/n) heard that he felt a little bit of relief because at least he wasn't knocked out that badly though there were some things he could have missed that could have been important.

(y/n): well at least i wasn't gone for too long at least.

Mei: me too, i was getting lonely without my partner helping me build my babies.

She said to (y/n), which didn't make him uncomfortable this time as he was getting used to it at this point.

(y/n): well then how are the others? And how is Millie?

Mei: oh they're doing fine, ever since Millie returned, everyone almost seemed to be happy.

(y/n): almost?

He asked, they should be fully happy since Millie had returned home.

Mei: yeah, they say that they couldn't be fully happy since they knew it wasn't the same without you. They really did miss you, I did too.

She said which made (y/n) feel a little warmness inside of him.

(y/n): oh, well it's great to hear that they're at least happy.

Mei: And now we can all be happy since you're back.

(y/n): well that's good to hear at least, so where's the others?

Mei: oh they should be here right about now.

She said and right on time, (y/n) heard familiar voices coming towards the room he was in. The door then opened to reveal Enna, Uki, Fulgur, Vox, Petra, Mika, Reimu, Gura, and Amelia. As they entered, Enna was talking about something.

Enna: and i said to Kyo, "kyo, you make me envy the deaf because at least they don't have to hear your annoying voice" and then he said—holy shit he's awake.

She said which made everyone look at (y/n) who was fully awake.

(y/n): hey guys, i'm still alive if you forgot.
