Existence

Existence made like it isn't a big deal
But it is, especially how I feel
Everyone acting like I'm not giving it my all
But I'm the only one catching me when I fall
Stop acting like I am not trying to live
You acting like I don't have two fucks to give
"Oh, you deserve to be happy" like hell I do
Pretending like I'm not trying, how about you
How can you even pretend to be,
"Oh, life should be happy"
Yeah maybe that's what everyone deserves
That don't mean everyone gets more than words
Not everyone can make life fun
In fact most of us try to just get shit done
Keep telling me I need to be happy now
This isn't gonna happen, it certainly isn't how
Shoving happiness down my throat won't bring it to existence
In fact, it will only lead to more futile resistance
Putting more pressure on me every day
Why you think that is going to help you get your way?
"Life should be happy, full and peaceful"
Maybe once I'm six feet down covered in landfill
"A positive mindset should help you persevere"
Hey, how about you all kiss my rear?
Until you have walked a mile in my shoes
