LIKE ALL GODOLKIN STUDENTS, Celeste Quinn was injected with compound V as an infant. The Quinn household waited for Celeste's powers to appear until it seemed they wouldn't appear at all. However, when Celeste was 12 years old, she disappeared into the shadows. Unable to control her newfound powers, Celeste lurked in her family's shadows for a year, not being able to escape. She watched her family family apart, all while trapped. When Celeste finally escaped, her parents blamed her for her disappearance and sent her away to live with her grandmother. There, Celeste learned more about her powers, both the advantages and side effects. When she was 18, she applied for Godolkin and got into the crime-fighting program. At Godolkin she met her new best friends and found people like her. As it goes, much has changed since her freshman year. It's her senior year, and she couldn't be more excited. All is well, except for her intense rivalry with her ex-best friend, Jordan Li. When a secret that could destroy Godolkin is discovered, Celeste must work with her old, and new, and unwanted friends to figure out what to do, all while fighting her own demons.
