Reflection and Shadow

A breeze passes with a floating leaf.
My eyes followed until it stopped.
There's this figure in the distance in need.
Sad eyes and shoulders dropped.

Pain was painted
Impurities are insecurities.
Doubt was also there,
In its person's despair.

I felt its sorrow, loneliness, and longing,
For something this world can't be claimed.
I can also feel it's anguish and resigning,
About to cry the figure holds the tears.

As the sky bleeds,
A new figure appeared.
It's behind me, I'm scared,
A dark tall, faceless figure, I feared.

It has no emotion and is only standing,
Changing its shape, growing and sinking.
I can only feel it as I fear to face it.
This thing will be gone, I don't need to keep it.

I want to reach what's in front,
But as soon as I touch it,
Wave from the water, it's gone.
As I look back to see what's behind,
A light killed it and it's gone.

I fear for what the future comes,
With my reflection I saw in front.
My past is what's behind,
A dark and scary shadow I needed to run.
