"Miss? Miss, what are you doing outside your bedroom?" Silvia? Silvia! The flash of sun light didn't let me recognize her. Those crystal windows sure are big. Silvia eventually got up to me and most of realized what I was doing.
"Ah....I just wanted to...look around. Get some fresh air" I tried my innocent look, hoping she'll buy it. I had released my hand from the door knop as I backed away from it too.
"Oh. That can't be. I locked the door as he told me to-..." she paused as my eyes widen. So she did locked me up. Why would she...I rolled my eyes.
"Let me guess. Orders." She nodded.
"You can't lock me back in there. It's not right" she can't, plus I need to leave before 'He' comes.
"Please Silvia, I need some air. I've been in bed for days, I think I discover it" she looked away from me, probably overthinking about it.
"All right, you'll come with me to deliver lunch to the guards. I simply nodded. I am glad that I can go outside, although the thought about the guards worry me.
We began walking throw a door that lead to another long hall.
"Don't worry, will just get the basket in the kitchen, then will go to the border and give the guards there lunch" she smiled.
I'm trying to find a way out and not get notice on my try. If the guards know who I am it won't work or they already know?
"Um...Silvia? Who many people know I'm here?" the question came out without any intention of. I hope she doesn't find it suspicious. She wasn't much taller than me, but looks can be deserving.
"Ah, I do not know. My guess, it's me, um...the twins which I guess you followed and The Alpha"
"Alpha?" The guy from the tunnel, great. The Alpha is there leader and...the one who wanted me lock up?
"Oh, dear God. I wasn't supposed to say that I-I" I cut her by telling her what I knew do far of that Alpha guy. She seemed surprised on how I had the information. Then she chuckled and told me she knows the guy.
Can this get any weirder?
"He's a prick" she said in-between laughs. Eventually I ended up laughing with her, he really was a prick. We had small talk on our way to the kitchen, which I'm guessing it's very far. I question that this must be a very big mansion and to my surprise...
I was correct.
Silvia mention she has lived here her entire life, so she knows it inside and out. That worries me even more, I can get easy lost.
"Well, it's nice for hide & seek" I said trying to break the awkward silent "Do the widows work? I ask has I notice one in particular, with some flowers.
"They do" Well that's a relief. I just have to find the right one. Daisies. I love Daisy's, I remember granny had a whole garden of them. I miss my granny, she always watered them at noon.
Wait, these flowers look recently watered. Someone must have watered them just a few minutes ago, that means it's probably noon.
"Common, where almost there" I looked at Silvia stating next to stare case, wanting for me. I didn't even realize I had stopped to admire the flowers. There were just something about them.
We go down the stair case, which felt pretty long with its circle form. Entering throw the one hall, which I had more change to observe.
Like I said before, weird décor.
Silvia and I didn't talk much in the way, maybe I was too busy talking with myself. There I go again...doing so. I keep following her from behind, down another stare case to another hall, but this one, this one had photographs...plenty.
"How old are this photos?" I stopped to ask when one captured my attention. It looked like it was taking in the 18th century. The color, the texture, what they were wearing, even the place and people.
"I'm not sure. It was already here when I was born." We both looked at the photograph once again. It's beautiful, it was taking in a lake, next to a big flowered tree.
"We should keep going, it's almost noon" Silvia confirmed. So it is almost noon, ha! I knew it. I smiled as I looked away from the familiar photo and continued with Silvia. I could had swear I've seen that place before, I'm sure of it.
I was about to ask Silvia more about it, but something stopped me the moment when it hit me. The most toxic smell I have ever smelled. Ok, maybe not toxic, but it made some sort of effect on me. I froze as the smell of mint and...cinnamon?
"What the..." I tried to follow the scent, which came from nowhere, why? I felted it everywhere. The sensations I'm feeling are going crazy. My body is bristled has my chest feels hard, which makes my breathing heavily slow.
I'm felling stuck, like...hypnotized.
My head telling me to follow it, I want to follow it. I can her Silvia calling me, but I was to focus on the toxic scent that I didn't notice her in front of me, grabbing my shoulders, shaking me over and over again.
"Miss?! Miss?! Miss?! Miss?!" She repeated, as I catch a deep breath looking at her.
"I-I uh-I" I tried to talk, but my voice failed me.
"Are you all right Miss?" she ask worried.
"I...I-I don't know" I whispered looking at the ground, felling out of breath.
"Come. I'll make you some tea, you're still a bit weak" she said, has she helped me walk towards the end of the hall. It lead to a white wooden door, but before we entered, I looked back at the hall, recapping what just happened.
That scent, I've smelled that before; which made me wonder even more. I know I have, somewhere or...
Someone...
