Chapter 1: Betrayal

I'm in a Mortal Kombat tournament and I was fighting against Quan Chi and Scorpion. If I lose this fight Outworld will merge with Earthrealm. I was the champion of Earthrealm. I had a symbiote named Venom inside me but he was somewhat shy. We were like brothers and we agreed not to tell anyone until he is ready and considering the Special Forces were hunting Venom, we kept a low profile. Venom secretly helped me defeat Quan Chi and Scorpion.

"That was intense."

I then walk to Raiden.

Raiden: You have done well. But the tournament is not yet over.

"Goro."

Shang Tsung: Y/N L/N... It has been years since an Earthrealm warrior has progressed this far. But the reigning champion is far beyond your ability. To the Lair with you!

A portal opens under my feet and I fall right through it and lands hard on the floor of the Lair. I recognize this place since I helped Sonya save Jax. I then hear a voice.

Goro: I did not expect to fight in this tournament.

I turn around and see an eight-foot tall, four-armed humanoid.

Goro: But eventually even a Earthrealmer produces a warrior worthy of a Shokan.

"One chance. Back off."

Goro: I will give you a warrior's death.

"Okay, have it your way... MASK!"

Venom: Copy.

Venom takes over and screeches at Goro. Goro was a little taken back.

Goro: What are you?

Venom: We are Venom.

3rd POV:

Venom rushes at Goro and tackles slashing and biting him. Goro throws him off as he jumps in the air but Venom moves out of the way and Goro lands on the ground and Venom grabs him and drags his face on the ground and throws him. Venom brings out tentacles and sends them at Goro holding him in place until Venom knocks Goro out. Venom then transforms back into Y/N.

Y/N: Thanks for the assist.

Venom: What's family for?

Y/N smiles as he sees a portal open. In Shang Tsung's throne room, Raiden and the others await the arrival of the victor. Shang Tsung sneers unhappily when he sees it is Y/N. He steps from his throne to the floor as Raiden takes in a deep breath in anticipation.

Y/N: Shang Tsung. Only one fight remains. Face me... in Mortal Kombat.

Shang Tsung: So be it.

Y/N POV:

Shang Tsung tries to use a fireball but I let Venom take control of my body and he helps me fight Shang Tsung. I grab him and throw him across the room and I dash over and started to punch him as he transforms into a fighter and tries to attack me but I dodge all of his attacks and I grab him and punch him out of his form and back into his regular form. He tries to bring in more fireballs but I dodge them and I drop kick Shang Tsung. he gets but I headbutt him and throw him as he falls to his knees.

"Say it."

Shang Tsung: I concede.

The Earthrealm warriors all cheer in unison. All expect Liu Kang.

Kung Lao: Well, done, my friend.

Raiden: He has saved Earthrealm.

A large beam of light, emanating from a portal, descends into the throne room. The Earthrealm warriors all surround me, offering me congratulations.
