Nabi's POV

Taehyung was terrifying me, and there was nothing I could do to escape him. I couldn't call out for help, I couldn't run out the room, I couldn't ask my mom, nothing. I was helpless.

My heart was beating loudly, so much so that he could hear it from a mile away. He wasn't in his demon form. He was wearing a simple black shirt with sweatpants, showing off his veiny forearms and tattoos.

Yet, he still managed to keep up that scary demeanour that never failed to send shivers down my spine. "Come here" He says, gesturing with his hand. By this point, my back is snuggled into the corner of the room, while he was on the bed, sitting casually.

"N-no..." that word took a lot of courage to say, but I did it anyway. "Don't let this turn into your second strike, darling" He tells me with a smirk on his face, leaving me no choice but to abide his orders.

"Close your eyes" He commands, slowly pulling me to lie on his chest. I did not feel safe having his powerful arms around me. He isn't a human, those fingertips could burn my skin to ashes for all I know. "I'm not going to hurt you" He says, pushing my head against his chest.

I closed my eyes like he had ordered, and I felt his hand on my hair, slowly stroking it. This man was confusing me. These were actions you're supposed to do out of love. But I'm sure he doesn't love me, but then why is he doing this? He can definitely get his way with me without this.

That's when I fell into a deep slumber. That's unusual, it takes me at least an hour to fall asleep, not a minute. It took me a while to understand that I wasn't sleeping, but rather, it was one of Taehyung's doings again.

I found myself in a grassy area. It was silent and eerie. It was early in the morning, the sun had barely risen. I walked around and that's when I saw two people standing next to a carved stone.

A tombstone.

"Here lies Lee Nabi" it said. I covered my mouth in horror. I died? The two people were mom and dad. I tried calling my mom, but none of my physical actions were applied onto her. I tried shaking her, but she didn't seem to notice. That's when I realised that I was a mere hologram in this picture.

My hands shook in fear when I realised that this could be Taehyung showing me my future. Mom was sobbing on her knees while my dad stood beside her, staring at my tombstone in sadness.

I felt my breathing get heavier by the second. I woke up with a scream and found myself on Taehyung. "Had a nice dream?" He asks with a sadistic smile.

"how...?" I managed to say between my heavy breathing.

"That was just a glimpse of your future, my love. A mere glimpse of what would happen to you if you were to disobey me or any of your brothers" He states, scaring me to the core.

"B-but how? How does it lead to my death?" Those words felt so foreign on my tongue. Death is something I always feared. As a kid, I would wake up in the middle of the night after a dream, scared for my life. Mom would always have to lie to me and tell me that humans can't die.

Of course, I knew that wasn't true. But until I was around nine years old, that's what I had believed. The only time I learnt that humans can die is when a girl from my fourth grade class was ripped to shreds by a werewolf.

It was a horrifying sight, and I never want to witness such things again.

"Who do you think killed you?" Taehyung asks with a creepy smile. I gasped. "Y—you killed me? How could you! Y-you're the one saying that you're not the enemy I should fear, yet you're the one who takes my life?" I raised my voice.
