16 - Visitation

"GET THE FUCK UP LEE NABI" I heard Jungkook scream. Groaning, I rolled around in bed, paying no heed to the loud demon in front of me. That was until he grabbed me by the ankle and pulled me out of bed.

"Hey! Us humans feel pain y'know?" I whined sarcastically. "You humans are also in some mad danger too, y'know?" He said in the same tone, glaring at me. I raised an eyebrow "When am I not in danger? Do you want me to act surprised or something?"

"Nabi, I'm serious" He says, staring at me dead in the eyes. He didn't have to say anymore, the fact that he called me by my name and not some cringy nickname was enough to let me know he wasn't joking around.

"Well can I at least brush my teeth?"

"Be fast"

The urgency in his tone was evident. I understood that it's really no time to be joking. I ran inside the bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth. I could see Jungkook pacing back and forth in the room, a worried frown etched across his face.

"So what's the issue?" I asked, sitting down on the bed. "We don't know for sure... but dad might come here in the evening"

My eyes popped out of their sockets. I felt myself puking at the thought of merely seeing that disgusting excuse of a man. "Here? Why?"

"He's been trying to find you ever since mom brought you to us. And he plans on searching all of Korea and China since it's pretty common for Japanese female residents to be trafficked to those areas. He is most definitely going to come to this house to pay his sons a visit" He explained.

"So what do we do?" I asked worriedly. "We have to go to other kingdoms. I'm taking you to envy or sloth. Anywhere as long as it's not a kingdom tied to you" He says, throwing me over his shoulder as he runs down.

"Dad will be here in less than an hour. Taehyung, go get rid of all her clothes and anything that only a girl can use" Jimin ordered. "And Jungkook, take her to sloth. Envy might be a bit dangerous for her"

"On it" He mutters before summoning a grey coloured portal. Going through these portals is never a pleasant experience. There was always so much pressure that makes my jaw hurt. I wondered how I would've dealt with it if I went in alone the day that creature gave me the map to the portal.

"I don't wanna go..." I mumbled hesitantly. "Why?"

"It hurts" I said simply. He let out a 'tsk' sound before lifting me off my feet and jumping in. I screamed his name in anger, he knows how much I hate these portals. He didn't even give me a countdown to prepare myself.

I felt a huge gust of wind was ready to blow me away. It felt like I was trapped in the middle of a hurricane. I clutched onto Jungkook's arm, while he stood there unbothered. A few seconds, later, we arrived at a very unfamiliar location.

The Kingdom of Sloth.

It was completely different from any other kingdom I've been to. Jimin's kingdom is more pink oriented and there's half naked women almost everywhere. I've only seen a glimpse of it before Jimin took me back to the palace.

Jungkook's was purple, since that's the colour that stands for pride and narcissism. The peasants of his kingdoms are never seen outside in the streets, because they all belong to the upper class, and they are forced to obey everything said to them.

Taehyung's kingdom is by far the scariest. It's dark red. There are no trees or wilderness. Fire is as common as air. The only trees and animals there are usually covered in flames.

The Kingdom of Sloth seemed to be more grey-oriented. It looked dull and dead. The trees were dead, only the thin branches remain. All the creatures had eye bags and droopy eyes.
