Minho's P.O.V

The moonlight shone bright over the city, as I found myself sitting across from Beatrix at a luxurious rooftop restaurant, my choice of course.

The clinking of glasses and soft jazz music filled the air, as I relaxed, finally enjoying a moment alone with her.

I couldn't help but steal glances at Beatrix, her beautiful smile and those captivating eyes holding my attention.  She had pretty much captivated me from the very moment we'd met, and now, I was determined to make her mine, whatever it took.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked, a faint smirk on her lips as she sipped her glass of wine.

"I can't help it...you're just so beautiful" I grinned answering her as she quietly laughed to herself, shaking off the compliment.

I was beyond lucky to have this moment alone with her, although my mind drifted to the tension with Chris, my best friend and right hand man. Knowing he was in there deep with Beatrix, his own feelings now getting involved.

But tonight, I was more than determined to win her over, to show her the world I could offer, to finally open up just as she desired.

"Bea, I have to admit, I've never met anyone quite like you," I said, my voice low and filled with genuine admiration. "From the moment we crossed paths, you've been this little constant reminder...it's something special really"

Her cheeks immediately flushed, her eyes sparkling with a mix of excitement and curiosity as she placed her arms on the table.

"Well Minho, I never expected someone like you to notice me. You're always surrounded by mystery and danger, it's actually surprising you took such a liking to a normal girl like me"

A faint smile played on my lips as I reached across the table, gently taking Beatrix's hand in mine.

"Of course, my life is far from ordinary, but with you, I want something different. I feel like I want to show you a world beyond this darkness, a life filled with love, adventure, and everything you deserve....isn't that something you want?" I asked, raising an eyebrow curiously.

Were my words working? She wanted me to open up, to become less of a closed book, but someone she could confide in too.

That seemed to be the relationship with Chris, so I had to be able to do it too.

Her gaze continued to linger on mine, as she let out a deep sigh, giving my hand a small squeeze.

"Minho, I can't deny that there's a connection between us, but Chris... he's been there for me, always by my side"

I felt myself tense as I tried not to let Beatrix see it. Of course she had to mention him, but the whole point was to keep her mind off of him.

"I get it, Bea. But I want you to think about what makes your heart race, what ignites you're excitement. Could you actually see a future with Chris, a future filled with passion and excitement? Cause trust me, I coukd give you all that and more. I know you're probably thinking wow, Minho's coming on strong tonight...but I guess this was my chance to prove to you how genuine my feelings are for you"

I could see she was hesitant, her gaze shifting between myself and the city skyline.

Chris had been this constant presence in her life, a friend through myself turned to a potential lover. But I knew there was an undeniable connection between the two of us, a pull even she couldn't ignore.
