Minho's P.O.V

I stood at the bottom of the stairs, my eyes fixed on the entrance as my somewhat loyal men gathered around me. Seonghwa, Jisung, Changbin, Jeongin and Seungmin stood by my side, ready to execute our plan together. The 6 of us dressed impeccably, ready to infiltrate the rival mafia group's party.

Chris however stood on the sidelines, wearing his usual casual clothes, his arms folded as he leaned against the wall, frowning.

He was clearly pissed off at my decision, I mean who could blame him. A mafia member cast aside from the main mission. But maybe this would make him think twice about crossing me.

My attention shifted towards the staircase, seeing Hyunjin lead Beatrix down the stairs, her holding onto his arm, a small smile on her lips. Her stunning emerald dress hugging her curves in all the right places. Her long hair tied up neatly with a few loose curls framing her perfect face.

Fuck she looked insane.

I couldn't help but notice her eyes were on Chris' first, a hint of blush creeping across her cheeks as he grinned back at her, probably feeling the same way I felt looking at her.

I knew his feelings were strong, and their connection genuine. But tonight would be the night I would steal her from him, I just knew it.

As Beatrix reached the bottom of the stairs, her eyes finally locked with my own. Her eyes twinkling innocently while her lips tugged by another smile as I reached out, taking her hand in mine and pressing a small kiss to it.

But I couldn't let my emotions cloud my judgement just yet. This mission was crucial, and a dangerous game at that. I had to be sure she was ready to lead us all the way.

"You look as beautiful as ever," I spoke softly as I noticed the familiar blush spread her cheeks once more, yet this time it was because of me...not Chris, "tonight we are allies, you as our leading woman. I'm trusting that you are capable and strong enough to distract them all. Do you remember the plan?"

She nodded, removing her hand from my own as she took a deep breath, ready to recite my plans.

"I'm a woman new to the area, I heard there were plans of a big party and took it upon myself to check it out. I'd been for a few drinks beforehand so I was a little tipsy, but this would be beneficial into talking the men on the door to letting me in. Once I'm inside I'm to talk, flirt my way around, pretending to get to know and care about the rival gang. Once instructed by my ear piece, I'm to find the nearest entrance for you guys, shutting off the main electricity and avoiding all harms way" she spoke confidently and clearly as I nodded my head, impressed with the way she had taken it all in.

She seemed completely cool and collected, like she was more than ready to help us accomplish our next step.

"And what if it goes wrong? What if they suspect Bea and you guys have initially put her right in harms way" Chris spoke, now stepping back into the group with concern etched on his face as he looked back at Beatrix.
