Today's Christmas Eve and I'm happy to say I have not woken up to any pranks. Though that might only be because of the date. Trying to push Ava from my mind I get out of bed and have a shower. Once I'm dressed (in a Christmas sweater of course) I head downstairs. My family do Christmas Day well but they do Christmas Eve even better. Going into the kitchen I see my mom and dad both cooking breakfast while my brothers Simon and Mark are sitting at the table. They're both engrossed in conversation and stop briefly when I sit down to fill me in. Apparently Simon has started speaking to this girl on Tinder or something, he shows me her profile and she lives just outside of town. One thing I'm so happy about is that they've never cared I'm a lesbian they just involve me and want to hear my thoughts.

After a while they stop talking about the girl and both turn to me with mischievous grins on their faces. Making me slightly worried for what they're going to say. I know it's not going to be bad because they're my brothers but when they both have that look it makes me uneasy.

"So mom said you pranked Ava again?" There was a slight questioning tone at the end of Marks sentence.

"Yeah something to do with mixing bowls?" Simon chimed in.

I was so busy with the jello yesterday I completely forgot to tell them. They wait patiently across from me reminding me of when we were kids. Of course my mom mentioned it to them, she probably said it in passing. Although she didn't want to know exactly what I was doing I know she does this thing where if she gets the information out of my brothers it's like she's not involved. This has been a common reoccurrence since we were kids so I know exactly what she's doing. I also know we're in the same room so she's going to try and eavesdrop as much as possible over the sound of bacon frying.

Lowering my voice I lean in closer to them, "Okay so, I went to her house to collect some things. They needed to be important enough that she would be mad but also not something she'd notice missing. I wen't round there in the day and luckily for me-- not so much her-- she hadn't checked the mail box. In the box were three envelopes with her name on so I grabbed them and found her spare key. I also wanted to do something random so I grabbed the bow off of the wreath on their front door. This was the best I could do as breaking into her house is criminal activity."

"Wait Lisa isn't stealing mail also a crime?" Mark asks his brows furrowing inwardly.

"Well technically she got it back if you'd let me carry on," I say with a grin.

"Nice!" Simon goes to high five me fully supporting the fact I stole someones mail.

"After I got everything I needed I then went out to get jello packets in that store just out of town. And oh my god is it a long trek, when I was a teen that seemed like nothing!"

"You wen't all the way out of town to prank this girl!" My mom exclaimed dumbfounded. Haha knew she was listening although she didn't seem to care at all about the mail. It's like my family would fully support me as a criminal. At least I can now appreciate they'd truly love me no matter what?

"I would've leant you my truck if I'd known," Dad adds while plating up the bacon.

"Okay why is everyone focusing on the shopping trip?!" I exclaim now everyone actively listening, "I wanted to inconvenience her so I put her spare house keys in jello and the bow from the wreath, then also three of her letters in separate ziplock bags into diffrent bowls of jello."

"Lisa! Does that mean I'm never getting my mixing bowls back?" My mom says while bringing the scrambled eggs over. I kind of love that that is her main concern with the prank, well that and the fact I did more exercise than usual.

"Mom I'll find a way to get them back! But come on that was a good prank right?"

"It was decent," Simon said while shrugging. Before loading his plate with the eggs.
