Of course the hallway was lined with thousands of doors. Aren't they all? I sighed and turned to Liam. He just shrugged and walked up to the first door on the left. He tried the handle but it wouldn't budge. He tried the next door and the next until finally, one opened.

"Its just an empty room," he sighed as he closed the door. "We're going to have to do this the old fashioned way. You get the doors on the right, I'll get the ones on the left. Let's go."

We started down the hallway. Many of the doors were locked. Occasionally, one would open, only to reveal a storage room of sorts. Some rooms were just full of beds. One of the doors Liam opened led to a quaint kitchen, with fake sunlight and light blue appliances. One of the doors I had opened hid a room full of couches. The couches were covered in decorative throw pillows and they all sat facing the flat screen TV mounted onto the far wall.

As we ventured farther down the hallway, the rooms became more industrious. One of them was just a giant freezer. There were multiple rooms packed to the brim with canned vegetables and other preservable foods. By the time we got to the room that stored all the firearms and amunition I realized something.

This was a bunker.

"Liam," I whispered to get his attention.

"Yeah?"

"Theyre planning on surviving the explosion by hiding out down here. I think this is the bunker."

"That would explain the excessive amounts of food and gun powder," I couldn't see his face in the dark, but I could hear where his voice was coming from.

"Do you think its even possible to survive an explosion so close?"

"I'm not sure. But this thing feels like its built for anything," he hit the wall lightly with his hand, as if to prove a point.

"So that means that if the bomb were to have gone off in the first place, Harry would still be alive," I was elated. That little piece of hope gave me the adrenaline I needed to continue fowards.

"Possibly. There are other possibilities, but I think I should keep them to myself. Let's continue on."

With a renewed source of energy, I practically sprinted from door to door. We continues down the hallway for a few more minutes until we heard voices. Both Liam and I froze simultaneously as soon as we heard them. We crept along in the darkness so as not to alert the company of our presence.

They had the lights on at the end of the hallway. I couldn't see the entrance door from here, which made it the perfect hiding place. As we inched closer, I noticed four people standing around in a circle, having a heated conversation. They weren't paying any attention to their surroundings whatsoever.

Three of the bodygaurds were obviously male, their tall stature, short hair and masculine body defining them as such. The third person, however, I had seen before. Jane stood in front of the three men. There was an angry expression on her face and she did not look happy.

She had traded the bright athletic gear for an all black body suit. She wore pointed black leather boots with the thinnest heals one could possibly imagine. Her feet were set shoulder width apart and she had her arms crossed over her chest. Her blonde hair flowed over her shoulders in long curls.

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Liam moving quickly up behind one of the male gaurds. In one swift movement, Liam had the mans hands behind his back, causing his knees to buckle due to the pressure. Liam had the man down on the ground in seconds, his eyes rolling to the back of his head as he was knocked unconscience by the blunt force of falling.
