Zaid stared at the ceiling absentmindedly as he lay down on his bed- his chin angled uncomfortably upwards, without the support of a pillow. It had been a couple of hours since he'd returned from the event venue in the aftermath of the tussle that'd ensued. Even though he'd been provoked by Imran to the fullest extent, Zaid felt annoyed at himself for not exercising better control over his mien, especially before the prying eyes of the public.
People are going to remember this for a very long time.
However, the main itch scratching away at him was the matter of the ridiculous claims Imran and Fahad had made about MJ so brazenly, that it had compelled him to wonder whether there was indeed any truth to their statements. Consequently, immediately after he'd driven home, the first thing he'd done was get on his laptop and surf the web thoroughly in order to investigate the topic of the Jaffar family's bankruptcy. Although he'd found innumerable tabloids claiming that they had exclusive details about the subject, the content of all the articles he'd read were all teetered towards baseless speculation with no hard evidence to back it up.
As someone who'd studied business, Zaid needed the math to add up in order to believe such a tall claim. Unfortunately, it seemed like none of the credible business magazines or journals that he usually read or followed had posted anything about the Jaffar family's depleting finances, thereby confounding him even further.
