Y/n POV

Me and Daenerys walked angrily as Xaro followed us. "I've demanded a meeting of The Thirteen. One of them did this or knows who did." Xaro told us. "You are one of the thirteen." I reminded him not trusting him fully. We walked up the steps as Xaro kept talking. "If I wanted your dragons, I would have taken them. They mean nothing to me on their own." Xaro said making us stop walking up the stairs as we turned to him. "Nothing? They're more valuable than anything in the world." Daenerys reminded him. She is right, dragons cost more than gold itself. "Shall we look inside my vault, and see what selling your dragons would buy me I cannot already? We will get them back." He told us. "There is no 'we.' So why would you help us get them back?" I asked him angrily.

"I took you both under my protection, in front of the rulers of my city. A man us what others say he is and no more. If they say, that Xaro Xhoan Daxos is a liar, my word is worth nothing. I cannot let this thing happen to you under my roof." Xaro explained. "But it did happen under your roof." Daenerys said. "Khaleesi, your Grace, many times in my life I have been. . ." Xaro said before getting interrupted by Daenerys. "We don't care where you've been." Daenerys said before going back to our room as I followed her. I see Daenerys look at the empty cages with sadness. "We will find them, my love. And whoever stole them will pay with their life, I promise." I told her as I walked up to her. "I want to find this person and kill them myself." Daenerys said angrily. "We will, my love." I said to her.

Ser Jorah came in the room panting heavily as I told one of the Dothraki screamers to tell him what happened. We both turned to him. "You came back." Daenerys said. "As soon as I heard. Do you know anything?" Jorah asked us. We both shook our heads 'no.' "Irri is dead." Daenerys said sadly. "I know. She was a good. . ." Jorah said before Daenerys interrupted him. "She's dead. She died alone. She died for me. And I couldn't protect her." Daenerys said sadly as I hugged her from behind trying to comfort my queen. "Doreah?" He asked her as I stayed silent still angry at whoever took our dragons. "We can't find her. She must be dead, too. Me and Y/n led our people out of the Red Waste and into a slaughterhouse." Daenerys said as she got out of my hold and walked near the window as she looked out. "I should have been here." Jorah said as I put my hand on his shoulder. "You went to find us a ship." I told him.

I stood next to Daenerys. "My place is by both your sides. I shouldn't have left you two alone with these people." Jorah told us. "These people?" I finally spoke. "They are not to be trusted." Jorah told me. "And who is to be trusted? Who are mine and Daenerys people? The Targaryens? We only knew one, our brother, and he would have let a thousand men rape Daenerys if it got him the crown. I barely remember Rhargar. The Dothraki? Most of them turned on Daenerys the day that Khal Drogo fell from his horse." I explained to him as Daenerys held my hand softly. "Your people are in Westeros." Jorah reminded me. "The people in Westeros don't know we're alive." I said. "They will know soon enough." Jorah told me. "And then what? They'll pray for my return? They'll wave dragon banners and shout my name? That's what our brother believed. And he was a fool." I explained as Daenerys dragged me to the other side of the room.

"You are not your brother. Trust me, your Grace, khaleesi." I hear Jorah. "There it is. Trust me. And it's you we should trust, Ser Jorah? Only you?" Daenerys said. "We don't need trust any longer. We don't want it, and we don't have room for it." Daenerys continued. "You're too young to be so. . ." Jorah said before she interrupted him. "And you are too familiar." Daenerys said. Jorah backed from us a he bowed his head. "Forgive me, your Grace, khaleesi. No one can survive in this world without help. No one. Let me help you. Please. Tell me how." Jorah pleaded making me and Daenerys turned to him. "Find our dragons." I told him. He nodded his head and left us alone. After he left me and Daenerys went with Xaro and head into a meeting room that has the rest of the thirteen in their chairs as we told them about our dragons being stolen.

"I did not leave the comfort of my home to come to yours and be called a thief." The spice king said to us. "No one is calling you a thief." Xaro said. "Who is she to accuse us?" The spice king said as he pointed at us. "Please. They're our children. I'm begging you." Daenerys pleaded him. "Begging us? It wasn't very long ago that your sister was threatening us." A man told her as I glared at him. "Without us, the dragons will die." I argued. "It will be for the best. Your dragons will bring the world nothing but death and misery, my dear. If I knew where they were, I would not tell you." The spice king told me. "You are cruel, my friend. The mother and father of dragons is in the right. They must be reunited with their babies." Pyat Pree told him before turning to us. "I will help you, your Grace and Khaleesi." Pyat Pree said to us.

"How?" I asked him suspiciously. "I will take you to the House of the Undying where I have put them." Pyat Pree told us. "You have our dragons?" I asked him angrily as I held my hilt of my sword to kill him but Daenerys stopped me before I could. "When I learned you were coming to our city, I made an arrangement with the king of Qarth." Pyat Pree told us making the rest of The Thirteen laugh but him and Xaro which made me more suspicious. "He procured them for me." Pyat Pree said . "But there is no king of Qarth." Daenerys said to him. "There is now. That was the other half of the arrangement." Xaro told us as he stood up and then turned to The Thirteen. "You would keep your closed gates and your minds closed to everything outside your walls, but Qarth cannot remain the greatest city that ever was if it refuses to change." Xaro told The Thirteen. I put Daenerys behind me as I whispered to Kovarro to keep her safe and he nodded. "I will open Qarth to the world, as I have forced it to open itself to me." Xaro told them as Pyat Pree walked and stood next Xaro.

"Your ambition is an inspiration. But like all upstarts, you overreach. Six dragons the size of cats, and an alliance with a charlatan do not make you a king." The spice king told him and for once I agree with him. "An upstart and a charlatan? Empires have been built by less. Those on the margins often come to control the center. And those in the center make room for them, willingly or otherwise." Xaro explained to them and stepped back as Pyat Pree walked up to them. "The mother and father of dragons will be with their babies." He told them as he turned to face us as Daenerys grabbed my hand as I unsheathed my sword to protect her. "They will give them their love and they will thrive by their side." Pyat Pree said and then turned back to The Thirteen. "Forever." He finished as I see people in robes come up behind The Thirteen and slit their throats. I realized they are Pyat Pree as they looked at us.

"Run!" I told Daenerys. She ran with me and Kovarro behind her when she stopped and see another Pyat Pree in front of her. Kovarro was about to kill him when Ser Jorah came from behind him and stabbed him but it didn't seem to kill him as Pyat Pree stared at us. "A mother and father should be with their children." He said before disappearing leaving the clothes he left behind. Then another Pyat Pree came from the side of us. "Where will you run to, Y/n II Targaryen and Daenerys Stormborn? Your dragons wait for you in the House of the Undying. Come see them." Pyat Pree told us but I grabbed Daenerys arm and dragged her out.
