chapter 18

Today is Charollete's last day until she goes back with our parents. I actually will really miss her and I liked having her around. When Maddie and I were younger Char was like our doll and we always played with her. Having her around brought back good memories but it made me sad that she was growing up.

Today is Friday so I didn't make Char go to school. I woke up around 8:30 and got myself ready to go to the gym with Charollete. I put on my matching set after my shower and quickly put my hair into a nice ponytail and put on a pair of sneakers.

I took Chichi to the front and she did her thing and I put her back inside. Charollete was already ready. She was standing and waiting by her bedroom door. I said "ready?" She said "yeah sure."

We got in the car and I started driving to the alo in LA. I said "so how are things with you and Brad?" She said "it's okay I guess." I said "why is it just okay?" She said "not really, I just said that so you wouldn't be mad, we're more so like fuck buddies."

I said "oh God Char, really?" She said "He's older than me he doesn't want to commit." I said "you need to find someone from school." She said "I know but Brad and I have the best sex I don't want to give that up."

I said "is he at least nice?" She said "he's the sweetest guy ever, he just doesn't want commitment." I said "God knows who else he is screwing, you better be careful."

She said "i know i know."

We finished our workout and we decided to go back to my house and freshen up and i changed into a similar outfit as before since it was so hot out and so did Char.

Austin asked us if we wanted late breakfast so we decided to go down to Malibu and eat breakfast on the water.

Char sat across from us and she invited her guy friend Grey. He's really cute and I think they could be a more healthy couple if she broke up with Brad and PLUS Grey is the same age as her.

I can tell Grey is IN LOVE with her but she has a hard time trusting guys and seeing when they like her back sometimes.

Grey came and he looked really good. I'm only two years older i'm not a perv...

He has brownish blonde hair but more so brown with ocean blue eyes. He's handsome. He had on sweats and a wife beater and a flannel. I would have so hit that if he was 18.

I even looked up and said "damn." He came over to the table and he said "nice to meet you Y/N i'm Grey." I said "hi Grey nice to meet you, this is my boyfriend Austin." He shook Austin's hand and said "nice to meet you." Austin smiled his charming smile and said "nice to meet you too."

Grey sat down and smiled at Charollete and said "long time no see." She smiled and she said "yeah i know i miss school, only for you, i could give two shits about what we are learning." He laughed and he said "that's why I have to send you my review sheets all the time." She laughed and I admired their young love.

Eventually our conversations mixed. We were talking about teachers from our old schools and I got a flashback of a time when I had a hot teacher in my senior year and as soon as I graduated, we hooked up. Yikes. Everyone always wondered why my senior math grades were so good at the end of the quarter. I was always a 92 average but fucking my math teacher did help.

I considered bringing it up but I knew Austin got jealous easily. But no of course Charolette said "oh my gosh didn't you screw your math teacher?" I rolled my eyes and said "thanks for keeping a secret dumbass." Her face fell and she said "oh sorry."

I said "anyway, yes I did, when I graduated and was 18." Austin looked at me like I was crazy. He said "so were your grades that bad you wanted to screw your math teacher?" I said "no, my grades were great, why else would I have gotten into USC? You submit college applications in like October." He said "either way it's bold of you to fuck your math teacher." I said "it was AFTEER GRADUATION." Some people stared at us and I calmed down.

It was 10x more awkward now and now it was just Grey, Austin, and Charolette talking. I was on my phone doing some college work.

Grey had to go to football practice so we left. When we got in the car Austin and I started getting into a screaming match. It was horrible. I felt so bad for Charolette but I needed to say what I needed to say.

He said "you see a minor walk in the fucking restaurant and go 'damn', if I did that in front of you to some 17 year old girl you'd be pissed." I said "I was trying to convince Charolette that he is better for her, not for me, I'm just saying it in support of her and HOW DARE YOU, accuse me of screwing my teacher for good grades at least I'M IN COLLEGE."

Fuck.

It was silent after that. I could only hear Charolette typing on her phone after that.

We went to my house and Austin said "we need to talk." We were still in the car but Charolette was inside. I said "I'm sorry, that was kind of rude, I know your smart, you're very smart, its just something I didn't really want to talk about again, I didn't screw my teacher for good grades, once I graduated I did, but he only raised my last quarter gpa by 1 point but I made him remove it because I knew it was wrong and ...I don't know."

I wiped my tears I didn't even know were falling. Austin rubbed my thigh and he said "I'm sorry for yelling at you for something that happened years ago, and I'm sorry I yelled at you about Grey, you know how jealous I get."

I said "there is no reason to be, I will never love someone like I love you."

He smiled and his eyes looked glossy. I said "I just want Charolette to be with someone better and she always needs validation from other people sometimes ." He said "I understand." He grabbed my thigh and he said "I love you honey." I said "I love you more."
