Xeria's P.O.V
"Your door is wide open; how careless are you, young madam?" Aunt Nora chides me.
Yes, why not? The first thing she has to do after arriving here is to scold me. Khaos looks back at me, perplexed.
"You see, I'm quite busy here, Aunt Nora." This is so embarrassing. What have I gotten myself into?
"Young people these days." She huffs, and I hear her footsteps as she leaves us alone.
Sighing, I turn my attention back to the drunken problem.
"Now are you in your senses?" I ask him, "Maybe." He groans, trying to sit up.
"Aye no!"
He sits up, not knowing that I'm sitting on him, and pushes me down, my hair still tangled.
Trying to maintain balance, we both roll down the couch, and again, I'm on top of him.
"Just wait." Supporting myself with my hands, I try to pull up.
"We're tangled." he murmurs, looking at the lapel pin.
"Let me remove it." he says, looking up, and his eyes lock with mine. I stare back, looking closer.
His skin is really nice; is he into skin care too? His lips are also perfect and look soft.
"Woof!"
"Go ahead." I make more space between us so that he can remove the pin. With great difficulty, he finally removes the pin, and I sit up on the couch with the pin hanging down on my hair.
"Where exactly you were?" I ask him, as he also gets up and massages his forehead with his fingers.
"Somewhere." He replies vaguely. If it weren't for Aunt Nora, I would have let him off the hook, but with her being here, there's no option for that.
"Khaos, please go and take a shower; we have to meet Aunt Nora too; hurry up!" I urge him, but he is just too drunk for that.
Sitting in front of him, I cup his cheeks with my hands and make him look at me forcefully. Oh, he has just a little but some amount of fat on his face.
"Go and take a shower, right now!" I pout and order him, but he leans his face in my hands and sort of relaxes.
He takes my hand and intertwines his fingers with mine.
"I made a horrible mistake." He mumbles, his eyes and nose turning red.
"At work?" I ask him, bending his hand in his direction, and he just gives me a dumbfounded look.
"Try to correct them, but first go and take a shower." I snap my fingers on his forehead, hurting my own fingers.
Just how strong is his head? Supporting him to stand up, I take him to his room and stuff him in the shower.
After Khaos was done with his shower, I gave him some aspirin to alleviate his headache. There is no rest for him right now.
Who asked him to go and get drunk on the first day of our marriage?
Sitting at the dining table across from Aunt Nora, she examines us with a piercing gaze.
"Congratulations to you two." She says, crossing her hands on the table.
"Khaos, she is the housekeeper from now on." I inform him, looking at him.
"Thank you, Aunt Nora." He says, recognizing her with a smile.
