My mind was wild, I was at home thinking about what happened at the hospital. I found out that the girl, Anna is Yoh's fiancée. I knew when I heard her say those words Amidamaru and Manta looked at me with sadness, I just...became numb to everything. I would strain a smile when Yoh asked if I was okay, and I would lie saying I just had a slight headache. I needed to head home to take some pain pills, so here I am trying to figure out my feelings and what I should do. I may be fated to be Yoh's soulmate, but knowing he's going to marry Anna? It broke my heart, it hurt so much more than when my aunt hits me.

When I came home though, my aunt was extra pissy. The guy she was dating dumped her because she was pushy and controlling. And you know what happens when she's angry...she takes it out on me. Lovely isn't it? I finally found my soulmate, my red string-fated one, and yet I can't even have that.

I was walking to school but with a slight limp, when I woke up and was walking down the stairs aunty decided to see if I could fly...yep, you got it I didn't fly I just ended up falling and getting bruises but I think I sprain my ankle. Why does it feel like this? I felt numb, why was I so affected by this? I like Yoh, but it's not my choice. Yoh picked her first even if she's a bitch. I finally got to school and walked - well limping through the hallway to my first class to see Yoh's arms on his desk, head down around his arms with Manta looking worriedly at Yoh.

Frowning in concern I walked over - well limped over, but I tried not to show too much of a limp.

"Are you okay, Yoh?" I place my hand gently on his shoulder.

I bend down looking at his brown eyes when he lifts his head to stare into my blue eyes.

He smiled with his eyes closed, causing my heart to skip a beat, and my face grew warm.

"I'm okay, Sarah. No worries."

I frown, eyes soften as I place my hand where his bandages are on his face.

"You don't seem alright... Here let me see them, may I?"

His cheeks were light red, and he nodded as I took off his bandages seeing it wasn't too bad, I gave him a soft smile and accidently brushed my fingers across his face, feeling him shiver. I pull my hands against my chest, blushing at what I did.

"S-sorry, but are you sure you're okay?"

"Y-yeah. A-anyways, you two know how the ghost I'm partnering with enters my body when I fight, right? Well, not only do I need to have enough strength to use one hundred percent of the ghost's potential, I also need enough endurance to fight for a long period of time," He stands up. "Anna's heartless! She's torturing me!"

"That's awful...can she like give you a break once in a while? It's not good to push your body over your limits, it'll hurt your body."

I said worried, for Yoh's well-being. He smiles shyly as he sits back down rubbing behind his head.

"I'll be okay, don't worry Sarah and I'm actually relieved to be at school 'cause it means I can escape from her clutches for a little while."

"Yeah, right. You'll be doing wall sits for the rest of the day."

I sweatdrop as Yoh doesn't realize Anna is now standing beside me, I place my hand over my face. I don't know if I should smack him upside the head or just snatch the guy and run away from that evil Anna and her brutish training of hers.

"Uh-huh. That's exactly what she would say."

"It's almost like she's here in class with us."

I smiled slightly "Um guys...Anna is here, she's right beside me." I pointed out to them.
