Erik's entrance into Diana's chamber was abrupt, his anger tangible in the tense air of the dimly lit room. Diana, engrossed in her study of spells and preparations for her coven, was wholly prepared for the news he brought.
With a snarl, Erik accused, "Your wretched witch escaped."
Startled, Diana looked up from her spellbook, her concentration shattered by his words. As Erik's fury seemed to consume him, she could feel a storm brewing.
Erik continued, demanding, "Why did one of my men take her out of her cell?"
Diana, unable to contain a sly smile, retorted, "Oh, that? I ordered it."
Erik's eyes blazed with fury, his voice venomous, "And why do you think you can give orders to my men?"
With an ironic air, Diana replied, "Well, it's not my fault that your man decided to follow my orders, is it? But don't worry, the traitor who dared to obey me met his end at the hands of that witch, Aleka. She taught him a lesson."
Erik was utterly confused by the situation. "What on earth is going on? What have you been up to?"
Diana, her tone dripping with intrigue, admitted, "You see, Erik, I can't control supernatural beings like witches. There's no spell for that. But humans? I can manipulate them, just like I did with your man."
Perplexed, Erik pushed further, "So, what's the plan with Katherine? What's your endgame here?"
Diana's smile widened, and her eyes sparkled with dark intent as she unveiled her audacious plan. "Katherine, Erik, is far more powerful than you think, and I've found a way to harness her magic. With her, we don't need an entire coven; her strength alone is more than enough to achieve our goals."
Erik, no longer seething but now intrigued, asked the crucial question, "How do you intend to make Katherine willingly join our cause?"
Diana's gaze held a sinister gleam as she began to lay out her manipulative strategy for winning Katherine over to their side.
Diana's eyes shone with a sinister gleam as she unraveled her manipulative strategy to win Katherine over to their side. She explained her wicked plan: to inform Katherine of her sister's betrayal, how she had escaped and never made an effort to save her. Diana knew that revealing this would instill feelings of betrayal, hurt, and anger in Katherine's heart. And that, she believed, would be the perfect emotional turmoil to exploit.
Leaning closer to Erik, she continued, "Once I've made her believe that her sister abandoned her, she'll be vulnerable, desperate for someone to lean on. That's when I'll strike, manipulating her emotions and guiding her towards our cause."
Her voice dripped with seduction as she whispered, "Trust me; this is the path to ultimate power." her lips meeting his for a brief, electrifying kiss. In that moment, Erik felt a confusing blend of desire and anger. He quickly overcame the temptation and seized her arm with aggression, reminding her of his immunity to her magic.
Diana winced from the pain but remained undeterred. Her sly smile returned as she assured Erik that this was not a mere game. "It's the start of our legacy," she proclaimed. "Just have faith in me. Soon, with the power of that other witch, Kathrine, I will make you the strongest species, one that not even nature will be able to challenge."
Erik's heart raced with a mixture of intrigue and apprehension. The path before them was uncertain, filled with shadows and treacherous magic. The destinies of both Erik and Diana were now intertwined in an intricate dance of power and ambition.
In the cold, dim prison cell, Katherine sat huddled in the corner, her eyes darting nervously around the space. Her heart ached with the absence of her sister, Aleka. The Viking guard outside remained silent, his stoic expression revealing nothing.
