Keirsten POV-

Standing in the closet I visualized the entire week that changed my life. Starting with Jacob and the moment he gave his entire week dedicated to one day at a time lessons and gifts. Monday was the park where we grew up and swung until the sun went down, right before mother would call us inside, Tuesday was the ice cream polar that my great uncle would take us when mother and father had their fights, Wednesday was the day we all had that specific talk about school and growing up, basically taking over the business. Thursdays consisted of when you'd learn to accept people from all the countries of the world and not make fun of them and Friday was a free day, which consisted of knowing oneself, appreciating our parents and knowing our position in life----It was the hardest day, when I learned to let go.

"Get it together Kiersten." I closed my eyes and whispered.

I quickly grabbed a pencil skirt and a nice cool button up shirt. I didn't think of underwear since I barely wore them all for Adam's pleasure.  I slipped the attire on and stared at my five feet tall frame in the mirror. My hair was messy from the shower, I quickly wrapped my dark raven locks in a bun and ignored the make-up department. Adam said I was natural beauty, and I took that to heart when approaching anyone I met. I rushed out the closet leaving my feelings and Jacob behind.

I slapped right into Adam. Damn it...

"We need to talk."

"Okay," I shrugged my shoulders and glanced at the clock. He was going to be late to his 'Baby'. The look on his face was priceless though.

"Look, we need to talk about what I know. I Know...I Know I need to be at work. I'm not going to sit here and act like everything is fine when it's not." He rambled, stalking back and forward.

"You're speaking like a mad person; I don't have time for it." I stood and walked out the room. He followed me, what he was good at, but followed me downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Baby, listen to me." He wrapped his arms around me once more, my weakness..., and caught my attention.

"What?" I simply gave in, forgetting about my task and his.

With defeat in his eyes with a little of something else...fear, I waited for him to speak. "We have to go...leave."

I waited for the pause and laughter, but it never happened. I chuckled and pushed his arms away, but he had them locked in life around me.

"There...was an incident at the job. I found something and we can't be here anymore, baby girl, we have to go." He rushed the words as if it was the only thing left to say.

"Stop it! What are you talking about!?" I pushed his arms away with all my might, I was scared, and he promised to love me, protect me for all the days of our lives.

"I know, but you have to trust me. Just...get somethings, a bag packed, nothing much ...all our medicines and don't forget the recent ones."
