*MAXIMUS*
Humans were going to pay for the crap they put us through. I destroyed the facility that killed my sister, they paid.
Walking over to the desk, I leaned over and crossed out the name, but it was only one...Adam. It was scratched on the paper with suspicious tendencies. He didn't want to be know...but given my ability to see passed the bullshit, It was clear. The list my sister sent to me for us to take back what they stole. I knew it was a chance she'd be captured but I didn't expect her to fall for one of the enemies and for that, she died.
"Alpha"
As much as I hated to be disturbed, I turned to see my beta, Garison, standing with authority that I taught him and loyalty that he got placed in command for. His father and grandfather were the beta of our pack for so long until they passed it to him. I guess I was proud, at least I knew he wouldn't betray me.
"Yes" The tension in my eyes was starting to bother me again...why did I have to be fuckin' sick all the time? My mate was long gone, he took her.
"I have the location of the traitor."
A smile crept on my lips. Finally, I'd have her and she'd be free...I'd be well.
"Give it to me." I held my hand for him to slam the wrinkled paper in it.
After reading the simple, boring name I took to my computer to configure where he may be.
"We didn't find him in the facility, the people we killed months ago didn't know where he went." Garison added.
"Yep, know that already" I said, typing in the address.
It was odd...a forest.
"These are our lands; I've already scouted this area myself."
Garison shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe it's underground,"
It struck a nerve. My father use to have werewolves locked up and those cells had been abandoned for centuries.
"Let's go," I slammed the laptop closed and grabbed my keys.

The drive was irritating. The packs were divided...some of us. After they learned what the humans were doing, the moon goddess granted an appointed time for us to keep shift to our wolves or human side. Me being an Alpha king had a choice and could shift when I wanted. The stone was stolen and used to this human, Adam, ability. He thought using it would reverse what was natural to werewolves such a fertility and shifting. His friend smelled of my mate...It was too late when I attacked him, killed him. I thought he was messing with my mate but as my sister described, he was related to her. That's when we found out she was mating with this human and that was forbidden.
As soon as we arrived, I noticed the trees were thick, covering a small area that looked as though someone had been doing lots of construction. I could sense my mate....her pheromone was driving me insane.
"Hurry up!" I yelled at Garrison as he kept tossing the tree's aside.
I hated I didn't have the strength to do this, as a matter of fact, I could kill a human in my wolf form, it would drain me though.
"Going as fast as I can!" He grunted, tossing what looked to be stones to the side.
My mouth started watering and all I wanted to do was attack what was inside. I gripped the stirring wheel and laid my head forward. My brown hair was covering my eyes slightly. I wanted a cut but that never happened along with other care I needed for me...it was always about finding my mate.
I knew about my mate the second Candin came to deliver messages to us about the human activity until she no longer came. She was taken and put in that facility where they tortured her and being the wolf she was, she'd never tell. Her beauty was most praised by many in our pack, I knew before long, she'd grow attached to one of the humans and that, she did.
He'd taken her from the place to a remote area but being around her had repercussions. She delivered the poison to him one evening but it took many doses to bring death to him. After a while, we noticed the poison she wasn't giving it to him, but it was too late, it would bring him death regardless of her loving the creature.
She was torn to believe that she was the one giving it to him, not us wanting him dead....so she ended herself.
"Got it!" Garison snapped me out of my inner monolog.
He began pulling at the door, but it wouldn't open. "What the fuck?" I joined him at his flank, and we stared at the large steel, double doors.
"It's stuck" He stated.
It was then, I lost my cool. I began punching at the door until it cracked and Garrison Joined me seeing my urgency to get inside.
"My mates in there" I groaned as my fist hurt because this was the strongest seal containing her.
"What" Garrison stared at me before a smile took over and he resumed his assault against the door.
We were going to break it and my mate would be in my bed.... tonight.
