Dealing With Things The Hard Way

Chapter 10;

Who ever I had just shot still wasn't dead. I stepped closer to the body , then I recognised who it was.

My mom herself ...

She sat up.

'You think it's all over cause I'm wounded ?'

'how could you do this ! If your not my mother. Who is she ?' I was close to tears , did she care for me at all ?

'Im not saying a word. Ask your cheating asshole of a father , oh wait he's dead.'

'He's very much alive actually. He came to visit me when I was in the hosp.'

For the first time , my mom looked shocked 'that's all lies hoe. If you were dead right now , I could be feeling Quadri inside me. And I can cause I ain't your momma.'

'C'mon he's half your age bitch.'

'Who-' mom held her chest where i'd shot her and gasped for air. Her head dropped on the floor. Her eyes lifeless and still open. Blood slowly poured out of her mouth and chest. She was defiantly dead. She had no pulse.

Even from the way she treated me , I was still shocked to see her like this. Limp. Lifeless.

I was gonna have to clean this up. Her body could go in the trash. Ain't like nobody's never seen a dead body around here.

Eww for fucks sake ! My mom actually fancied Quadri as well ?

Tasha was so excited for the baby , even though I told her I wasn't gonna tell Quadri. I already knew the name for my new creations to the world and of course he/she would have my surname. I already thought of names. Boy or girl. If it was a girl "Niyah Marie Carter" and if it was a boy "Trevis Michael Carter."

But then I thought about it , if I was gonna have a baby how was I gonna look after my brothers too ?

They seemed to really enjoy it at Tasha's so I asked them about the idea of staying there. Dantell was excited but Donell looked as if he was about to cry.

'Whats the matter baby ?'

'You always leave us at Tasha's. Do you not love us or want us ?'

'Of course I do baby but you see I gotta handle some things now and i promise I'll come over as much as I can to see y'all. Don't you like Tasha ?'

'I do.'

'Then smile baby. It's an experience ok ? Like an adventure for a while ?'

Donell smiled excited as well. Luckily Tasha had agreed , she liked the thought of having some kids running around instead of being in a quiet house all to herself.

Time to pack their bags. I sure would miss these kids but right now I needed to clear my head.

*a few months later*

My baby bump was starting to show , no one but Tasha knew who the father was. Even Quadri had been giving me curious stares. Ha , bet he was wondering who the father is. Well fuck him. If he found out , he'd probably want nothing to do with the baby.

Loads of people have been asking and all I've been doing is smiling and keeping my lips sealed. Nosy ass people. All the doctor appointments I've been going with Tasha and of course she's been bringing the kids.

Turns out I'm having twins. A boy and a girl. When these little creations pop out , my house will not be peaceful anymore. I'm excited and quite scared. I'm actually gonna raise some children of my own ! I have experience but not with newborns. I'm a woman and I can raise these kids on my own , I defiantly don't need no man by my side. Ima be better off doing me.
