Chapter 18;

Jamal came to visit today. He explained loads of things to me but nothing about my real mother. He explained how mom cheated on him with some pimp and she had another daughter who's still alive. That's pretty shocking actually.

I just hope I don't run into her anytime soon.

Hearing the doorbell I went to answer it. It was Quadri. He probably just came to pick up the kids.

I smiled letting him in. 'Hey.'

'You busy Saturday night ?'

'Nah why ?'

'Ion know , I was hoping we could do something. Like go out ? I had something in mind.'

I could easily say I was surprised , I think this thug was asking me out. 'Like a date ?'

'Whatever helps you sleep at night.' He laughed 'I'll pick you up at eight sexy. ' He said intertwining his fingers with mine

'And the kids ?'

'They can stay with Tasha , just until we get back.'





30 minutes later Quadri left with Trevis&Niyah. I may just be going on my first date in months.
