As I was sleeping when I kept hearing small giggles coming from right next to me. I opened my eyes and saw Jungkook smiling at me.
"You're up!" he giggled.
"What time is it?" I yawned.
"It's eight o'clock." My eyes widened. I couldn't believe I slept all day. "I brought you something."
"What is it?"
"It's on your head. I made it for you." I reached for the top of my head. Awing at the small little gift he made me.
"Aww. You made me a flower crown?"
"Mmhmm" he nodded. "Do you like it?"
I smiled, "Very much. Thank you." It put back on my head. "How do I look?"
"Like a princess" he awed.
I chuckled, "Let's settle down there. I'm nowhere near a princess." Jungkook stared at me for a while before he spoke.
"Your eyes are turning red again." I looked in the mirror and he was right. I felt my throat start to tighten and burn. I started to hear the blood flowing through Jungkook's body. Even the way his heart was beating.
"Jungkook, I need you to stand back."
"Why?" he took a step forward which made me take a step back.
"Because I said so."
He took another step forward and I my fangs grew, "You're hungry. Aren't you?" I nodded my head. "How are you gonna feed?"
"I don't know but until I figure it out, just stay on the other end of the room." I stood at the end of the room. Trying to think of what I can do. "I have no choice. I gotta go out and feed. If I stay here any longer, I could end up feeding off you. That's the last thing I wanna do."
"But how are you gonna do that? My parents are outside."
I walked up to him and held out my hand, "Watch."
He grabbed my hand, and we walked out the room. I looked around the conner and saw his father coming.
I bent down to Jungkook's level and said, "Ready?" he nodded his head.
His father came and spotted me. He was about to yell until I enchanted him with my eyes.
"Don't scream. You don't see me. You won't even remember me when this is over. Go to your room and go to sleep. You won't wake up until the morning." He father stared blankly at me before yawning. He walked into his room and closed the door.
"Wooow. How did you do that?"
"It's a gift we vampires have. I can compel anyone to do anything."
"That's amazing!"
"I know right." I felt myself slowly get weaker. "Come on, I don't have much time." I grabbed his hand, and we began walking.
That's we saw Jungkook's mother sitting on the couch. I walked up to her and did the same thing I did to his father, to her.
After I was done, we walked out of the cabin. I smelled the air trying to find my next meal.
"Can I come with you?"
"No, I need you to stay here. It can be dangerous out there. Especially if there are hunters out. I can't risk something happening to you."
"But I can keep you safe" he whined.
"I said no. I'll be back in a few minutes. I can smell a deer not too far from here. Stay put. I have supersonic hearing, so I'll be able to hear you from afar. Don't worry." I patted his head before using all the strength I had and speed through the forest.
